Bad Girl Banter Claire Seville - June 2015

Hello my loves, have you all been enjoying the summer so far? I’ve loved this sunshine, spending plenty of time at my tiki bar relaxing with family and soaking up the rays.

This month has been mega crazy, something pretty major happened for me. I met my dad for the very first time in 33 years; he left the family home when I was just 3 months old and I had no memory of him. As big as that was, it was amplified to huge proportions as it was all filmed for BBC documentary ‘Family Finders’. I had so many lovely well wishes and messages from lots of people after the show aired, it really moved me. My relationship with my Dad continues to grow and we are looking forward to spending lots of time together in the future.

I have some very exciting news, remember in my last column I told you all about The National Vintage Awards?

Well, I made it through to the final! I’m absolutely thrilled to have got this far and I really can’t thank everyone enough for getting behind me and for sending in your votes, it really does mean a lot to me. It is up to the judges now to choose a winner, so we will have to wait and see. The competition is really tough, so I’m going to enjoy the night and see what happens. Really looking forward to getting all glammed up and partying with some of my favourites. I was asked to go and talk about the awards on Radio WM which was loads of fun. Sunny and Shay are fantastic hosts and made me feel very welcome.

I’ve had lots of lovely ladies come and visit this month for shoots and we’ve covered all manner subjects.

Bibi Beauchelle came all the way from bonnie Scotland, we created some alternative bridal boudoir shots as well as a bit of pinup. The very beautiful and pink haired Rose Munro also came to see me and we had fun with pinup and boudoir. Lola Diamond came for a visit, we did a couple of mag features which are under wraps for now, this clever little lady made me the most gorgeous dress for my tiki party, you must check her Instagram @violetsinmay. Hair genius Diablo Rose travelled down for a shoot as well, had so much fun with this little lady.

It was a busy month for boudoir this month to; lots of ladies having wedding gift shoots, anniversary presents and general feel good confidence boosting fun.

On top of all this we’ve been partying our socks off with both the husband’s birthday and our little face, double celebrations this month, loads of family time, which I love so much. We also went to feed the penguins, greedy little buggers, but so cute!

So next column I’ll be able to tell you how I did in the awards and what the night was like, I’d like to wish all the finalists the very best of luck and here’s to a wonderful glittering evening full of bubbles!
