Over this past year, we dedicated ourselves to strengthening where we were already strong and growing in new areas, all part of our consistent goal to make you, your vehicles, and our roads that much safer. Something that increased exponentially this year was the adaptation of integrated solutions, in particular camera systems with integrated sensors. While backup cameras are a huge help, many operators are trained to use their mirrors when reversing, and we all know the saying about old dogs and new tricks. Adjusting to camera systems can be hard, and even with rear visibility, backup accidents can happen. With an integrated sensor system, the driver is alerted when something is behind them, and this draws their attention immediately to the monitor. Integrated solutions like this maximize the utilization of safety systems and make sure our customers are getting the most out of their safety solutions.

We know that unfortunately, accidents caused by others on the road can not always be prevented.

For that reason, we greatly expanded our Mobile DVR program by growing our DVR team, streamlining department leadership, and investing in the hardware, software, and support that we offer. Our aim is to protect our customers from all sides; preventing accidents from happening, and having the real story for accidents that could not be avoided.

“Martins Famous Pastry and MFPS Transport have been using Rear View Safety camera systems for over 5 years. We started with the 32 gig recording DVIR and now use the 2 card 128 gig DVIR. We really like the additional storage capacity. This allows for us to extend the amount of frames per second on the recording and capture the complete view. Our insurance company loves the availability of the footage and it has already paid for itself with accident claims. We also can use the footage for driver training.

We use a 4 camera system on Tractor Trailers and a 2 camera system on Route Vans, the GPS and speed availability have also been useful in verifying drivers logs. The service and reliability of the people on staff at Rear View has been excellent. Rear View gets our recommendation.�
