PROJECT NARRATIVE: This project is an expansion of the new branch for the Community Health Center at Edward M Kennedy . The scope of work consisted converting an existing 5,020 S.F. retail space into a clinic with daily capacity of 300 patients.

My Role: DD Active involvemnet in design meetings with facilities managers,end users, Department of Public Health officials, senior architects and MEP consultants.

CD Allocated work to the project team, staffed drafters to meat the deadlines in developing DPH submittals, Bid-set documents, and construction documents.

Project: This was a renovation project for a one family residence, located in Newton, MA. The scope of work had consisted of converting the attic into a finished studio space with a full rest room. It also included installation of a small rest room on the first floor.

My Role: My tasks had included measuring and documenting the Existing Conditions, as well as some independent design work. I have used Auto Cad to create drawings for all phases of the project, it included Demolition, Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents.

The first floor rest room was one of the most challenging task that involved replacing the grand stair with a smaller stair and a rest room.

Through different iterations i have understood how to manipulate the irregular geometry of space between two flights of stairs in order to gain enough clearance for bathroom placement. This rest room had to be comfortable, but also in compliance with code requirements.

The attic bathroom had also presented a challenge; it required for a new sewer line. i have designed and correlated this line from third floor through the basement.
