Join The Garontakos Group in supporting the children that need it most in Boone County this holiday season. These two organizations are near and dear to our heart. Contact us to see how you can help. H E RE ’ S H OW YO U C A N H E L P IS A I A H H O U S E 117 When children are removed from their homes out of concern for their welfare, they are usually brought to the Department of Children’s Services Offices to await placement with a foster family. This wait can be several hours to nearly a full day. These children often have nothing with them and are scared, lonely, hungry, and in dirty clothing. Isaiah 117 provides a comforting home, where these children instead can be brought to wait – a place that is safe with friendly and loving volunteers who provide clean clothes, smiles, toys, and snuggly blankets. This space allows children to receive the comfort and care they need while DCS staff can do the necessary paperwork and identify a good foster placement.
Land has been donated for the Boone County location, and Isaiah House 117 needs to raise $150k to be able to start construction on the home. They are looking for volunteer builders, contractors, etc., to assist with the build. There are many opportunities to GET INVOLVED. For more information about giving and volunteer opportunities, contact Ginger Summers at 317.615.9798 or Ginger.Summers@Isaiah117House.com. www.Isaiah117House.com Facebook @Isaiah117HouseBooneCountyIN
