2 0 2 0 F O R D MAR KET R EV I E W JONATHAN AND ANGELA-MARIE, Home sales in Ford got off to a great start with many selling close to list price or higher. That changed with the March 2020 lockdown. The 2nd quarter slowed down but prices were up +4% compared to the same period 2019.

With safety protocols and having adjusted to the new reality, buyers came back to the market in June. In the last 6 months of 2020, 49 homes sold in Ford compared to 34 the same period 2019. During the same time showings to see homes were down -32%.

The outlook for 2021 is good! RE/MAX Canada is forecasting a 6% increase in sale prices and in January 2021 sales were above that.
