The buyer demand for the Hampton Roads area remains high, with current inventory still pointing to a seller’s market. However, with interest rates rising and the inventory of active homes on the market increasing, we are also seeing market time increasing and a bit of a slowdown with the multiple offer scenarios. For example, offers are not coming in for a week or more, not as many offers are in, and/or the terms and prices being offered are not quite as aggressive as they have been the past year.
