The Orange County housing market is continuing to slow. The inventory remained the same in the past two weeks while demand dropped another 5%. As a result, the Expected Market Time for all of OC increased to the highest level since September 2011.

On the plus side, the Orange County active listing inventory STILL has not peaked. It looked like it had a couple of weeks ago, but there was a surge in homes that came on the market this week. The inventory INCREASED by 101 homes and now sits at 7,302, its highest level since July 2016. Demand dropped from 2,050 to 1,974 in the past week as well. The expected market time increased from 105 to 111 days. The housing market is inching its way to Buyer Market territory (120+ days).*
