What grabbed my attention was that that he was working at Cambie Cycles, in 1986, which was located at Cambie and 23rd Avenue. Within the year, he bought the business. When they were relocating in 1992, he didn’t want to leave the neighbourhood, they found a spot a few blocks north between 18th Avenue and 17th Avenue, where they are today. The staff, (which to me really sounds like a family) Sam, Dan, and Larry have worked there for 10, 20, and 30 years!
