For at least a decade or so The Scalise Family has organized a group to help a couple of needy families from our community. The program is through their church. The general idea is to provide a grocery gift card for each family and two presents for each family member. The church always ends up with a few big families that are hard to help unless people work together to give these families a special Christmas.
