A Clear Vision of Your BEST: As you reflect on the journey of your life, it is likely that many, many moments have played a part in shaping how you view your overall self today. Eventually, these become stories that you tell yourself and that become woven into your self-perception. Which stories you hold on to make a difference in how you move forward and in what you leave behind for others to remember. It’s important to let go of the old stories that no longer serve you—just as the leaves drop from the trees each fall, so must the stories of the past. Get out of your comfort zone and surround yourself with knowledge and tools that will help you become a better version of yourself. 2. Create a personal vision statement. Identify what’s important to you and what you want to achieve. Doing so will also help you identify your values that serve as guideposts on your purposefinding journey. 3. Give back. Look for ways that you can be of service to others. Service comes in many forms, such as your time, talents, energy, or financial gifts. 4. Practice gratitude. Doing this takes a lot of practice for most people, but it brings rewards when done consistently. To help you begin 14 Fall 2023
