How Do You Find the Area of a Trapezoid? How do you find the area of a trapezoid that has the top base of six (6) and a bottom of twelve (12), the height being four (4)? The question is asking to explain how exactly you’d go about finding the area of a trapezoid. Remember area means the space inside the shape, unlike perimeter where we’d be solving for the space outside. So knowing this moving back to the question, it says the trapezoid has a top base of 6, a bottom of 12 and a height of 4. To solve this we’ll need our formula, using a formula allows for a much smoother break down. The formula for a trapezoid is area = base + base x height and divide that by two. So it’d look something like this- 6+12(4) everything over two then comes out to 18 which you’ll then times that by four giving you 72. Lastly, you’ll divide the 72 by 2 giving you 36. I have read about how they was treated when ever they had to buy anything at all. I have learn that when you are a different color in any race. Attn: Parents I think that the students should not use cellphones in class anymore. They ring in the classroom disrupting the class. They’re listening to music, looking up websites, and taking pictures. They’re using them to cheat on classwork tests and all of their lessons. They are using them to make fun of other students and teachers. So, I came to the conclusion that I am going to ban cellphone usage from my classroom because it is a major distraction. The students will have to either turn off their cellphones or put them on silent and put them away as soon as they enter my classroom. They can use them after class or at recess. Thank you. Paper Balloon Festival
y story today is about Christmas. I like Christmas because I can enjoy my family, preparing our dinner together and living together. I have a big family in Mexico and hope this year I can be with them at Christmas. Now I need to go shopping and buy a gift for my family. I think what its beautiful to have peace on Christmas. Well want to wish you a happy few days in company with your family and Merry Christmas!
This event takes place in Mexico, in San Andres, Tuxtla, Veracruz. It has been held for 10 years. In this festival the most important globetrotters in the world gather such as: Brazil, Colombia, France, and the hosts from San Andres, Tuxtla, representing Mexico. True works of art are made. Balloons of different shapes and sizes, characters from movies, cartoons, and one in honor of the Tuxtla jungle are made. One of the most anticipated moments is when night falls, since night balloons are flown that excite everyone. These balloons require quite laborious teamwork, a lot of concentration and several hours of work, since thousands of lanterns are lit in a rectangular network, which when raised forms different figures. Every year more groups and countries join to participate. The festival will last 2 days and takes place in September. It is an incredible and spectacular event.
