Coffee with the Roadrunner iper the parrot and Carlos the roadrunner were good friends and met for coffee every morning. It was a special morning for the road runner. He ran up to the window where Piper was.

“Good morning Piper. How are you today?”

“I’m just fine. “ “Piper can you pour me a cup of that good coffee you make? I got invited to the roadrunner ball and I can take anybody I want to. I would like to take you Piper. You fly beautifully and we can dance away on the dance floor. I will come to the window at 7 PM to come get you for the ball.”

“Piper you look very dashing tonight,” said Carlos.

“Carlos you look really colorful in that suit you’re wearing.”

“There’s gonna be a dance contest at the ball.”

“All right everybody, let’s get ready for the dance off,” the DJ said.

There were foxes with mice. There were dogs with cats dancing and then there was a roadrunner with a beautiful parrot. Trey, a fox and a mouse names Squeak did the first dance. It didn’t go so well because they were not in rhythm.

And the dog and the cat kept on chasing their tails. But when it came time for Piper and Carlos, they did a beautiful rainbow dance. Piper flew up then flew down and then Carlos twirled around the dance floor to make the great rainbow dance.

“Ladies and gentlemen,” the DJ said on the speaker, “I would like to announce that Piper and Carlos are the winners of the rainbow dance!”

The next day when they met for coffee, they stared at the big trophy they won at the ball.

A Very Stressful Day oday was a very stressful day probably one of the worst days of my life. To start it off I woke up late and didn’t even hear my alarm. Then when I was eating my breakfast my plate dropped and food spilled all over my clothes, after I changed my clothes, I left for my meeting. My car broke down on the way to the meeting which was 3 miles away. When I got there the receptionist was very angry I was late, I tried to explain to her the reason, but she didn’t care and she canceled the appointment. I walked to the bus stop and took the bus home. I was so upset, that I had to take a nap at home I was awakened by a phone call, it was my Mom telling me that she had a really good day I was happy for her I didn’t want to tell her about my really bad day, we went to lunch to celebrate her new car I hope I have a better day tomorrow.

What color do you feel like today?

I feel like a red ruby color because that's my color of my birthday. I feel happy when I wear it. And for it being my birthday today. I was able to wear the red ruby color when I went somewhere today. To see my sister at her house. We saw a movie called the beauty and the beast.

First Spelling Test My mom & my boys

I have two sons, Elijah and Donavin. They are just like my mom.

Growing up, I didn't realize all she did for us. Now, looking at myself in her place, I give her all the credit in the world.

She practically raised four kids on her own. I see how my boys are attached to her and it makes me happy. They always want to go get grandma. She plays in the sand with them and takes them cruising around our little town. Also McDonald's, haha.

Oh wait, I forgot to tell you my mother's name, JoAnne. We are so blessed to have someone like her. Now I know where I got my parenting skills and my patience. There is no replacing her.

That is a little bit about my mother and my boys. I wish everybody could be as grateful as me.

First Spelling Test

Kendrick journal I got some good news. I got a new tablet. It works well. My Moms got me the tablet. It came with a keyboard and a mouse. I gave my other keyboard to my friend Jamal. It made my day.

I did my homework. Jacob, Scott, and I went bowling. We had fun. I also cleaned the house for Michelle. She was so happy. I watched TV while I was cleaning. Lee is happy to be living here with Michelle. He seems calm and more relaxed. I watched TV. I watched Gotham the TV show. It's a great show. It's about before Bruce became Batman and before all villains were just kids. In Gotham they become villains.

My moms are the greatest. I'm glad they took me and my brother Keith in.

Made a Pizza y family and I made pizza. We made basic pizza dough. We used some flour and some dry yeast and some salt and olive oil and Lukewarm water and more flour if we needed it. and for the toppings we used some tomatoes with seasonings and mozzarella and pepperonis and we put it to cook, we were able to eat and I was good.

An Algebra Word Problem When solving an algebra word problem, how do you know whether to multiply or divide?

When solving an algebra problem you need to know how to tell whether you’ll be dividing or multiplying. Here’s how. When you’ll need to divide, you’ll know because when dividing, the problem will give you the total amount of whatever it is you’ll be dividing. Whereas with multiplication- it will not, so for example with dividing let’s say-Maria has twenty dollars, she wants to split it with two of her friends-what is the amount each friend got?

It’s simple they would each get ten dollars. Now for multiplying instead of the problem telling you Maria has twenty dollars it would be written out like this—Maria has two friends each of them got ten dollars from the amount she originally had, in total how much did she have before giving away half?

Which would be twenty by the way, pretty simple, and that’s pretty much it.

hen I was a child, my grandmother lived at home with our family, today this brings back very good memories of a beautiful, fun and loving childhood. among the memories, I have a day that she took me to speed a few day with some relatives. I like being the spoiled granddaughter of my grandmother, since I enjoyed the privileges of being close to her, although they were also something, to obtain her preference, I had to go to sleep at her house, even through she lived in our house, my Grandma liked to sleep at her house, my brothers, did not like to go to grandmas house to sleep, and on the contrary, I enjoyed it, the only thing that was not pleasant was that I had to go to sleep early, which nowadays is a good habit to do.

Visiting my aunt in the company for my grandmother was fun, since my cousins and I could be playing late, in addition to different foods, delicious and, I could also ask for what I wanted, knowing that my grandmother would give it to me. It was always a privilege to be close to my grandmother there were fun outings, and others for work, butit didnt matter me what the reason for the outing, was, what was truly exciting was learning from her. I would still like to have my grandmother, I think that today she would enjoy twice and differently! I miss her company, meals, and most importantly her conversation.

When I was a little girl….

Latin Cuisine

hen I was a little girl, I spent my summer vacations with my Grandma in the town named Madera because my Grandma lived alone.

She was very old at the time. She was always happy when I visited her. She liked drinking coffee in the morning. I called her Abuelita with a lot of love. Her name was Maria. She was a strong woman and she walked to church every Sunday. She cooked delicious food for me every day. She bought me milk candies at the store. The milk candies were special because the milk was fresh milk because the person at the store had cows. I remembered when it rained in my town too. It always had a smell of wet dirt. I liked it a lot. I lived in the city growing up far from my town. My grandmother lived in the town. When it rained in the city it didn’t have the same smell as when I visited my grandma on every vacation. Nowadays when it rains I sometimes remember the smell of the dirt when I was a child.

Indigenous gastronomy was mixed with European, African, East cuisines and that is why it is very varied and fascinating, despite which ancestral recipes are still preserved.

Latin American cuisine tends to have balanced flavors, using herbs like oregano, dill, mint, celery, rosemary and spices like saffron, cinnamon, turmeric, chili peppers, avocados, tomatoes, onion, garlic, tropical fruits are also incorporated above all, corn predominates in different preparations in the various regional cuisines.

There is a rich variety of native potatoes that are essential in mountain kitchens.

The regional cuisines have its own specialities and flavors, offering unique ingredients and cooking techniques that often involve complex preparations and long cooking times.

The rich variety of flavors is united to the history and culture of each of the towns. It’s a multicultural wealth that is shared in recipes, techniques, and dishes.

Food has a strong component in communities. Having family lunch is highly valued, it’s the largest meal, it’s time to share.

It’s a fact that the best and fun way to learn about culture is by eating its food.
