ED&I AFFILIATIONS
The Armed Forces Covenant (AFC) is “a promise from the nation to those who serve or who have served, and their families, which says we will do all we can to ensure they are treated fairly and are not disadvantaged in their day-to-day lives."
As part of our commitment to the AFC, we’ve pledged that we will:
• Recognise the valuable skills that veterans bring to our business by advertising employment opportunities on the Forces Families Jobs website, and supporting the work of the Careers Transition Partnership (CTP) -
Approximately 14,500 veterans leave the Armed Forces each year and many of those will be looking for a second career
• Support the Cadet Forces with CV writing, interview workshops, and work experience opportunities
• Support Armed Forces events, aiming to actively participate.
*The CTP provides resettlement services for those leaving the Royal Navy, Army, Royal Air Force and Royal Marines regardless of time served, operating as an intermediary service for employers wishing to hire from the Service leavers and veterans pool of talent.
