REACH MISSIONS AT THE CROSSING CHURCH April-June 2026
A team of 71 men had the opportunity to serve alongside YWAM Homes of Hope. More than just a construction project, this trip created space for men to go deeper in their faith, serve alongside one another, and build meaningful friendships. Through their work, six families now have safe places to call home, and the impact reaching those families and their neighborhoods is only just beginning.

10,000 FAMILY HYGEINE KITS OVER 1,200 VOLUNTEERS
Last year, we partnered with Habitat for Humanity to help build five homes right here in Las Vegas. This year, our REACH team had the opportunity to continue investing in those families by joining a Women’s Build to help landscape the same homes and contribute to creating welcoming spaces for the homeowners.
“There are moments that just make you pause and feel incredibly grateful, and attending the Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas volunteer appreciation luncheon was one of those moments.
Habitat has faithfully served our city for 35 years, building 124 homes for families in need, and in 2025 alone, 5 of those homes were made possible through the support of The Crossing Church. As Rachael
Tharp and I sat listening to the executive director, board member, and director of resource development and communications share both the impact of their work and their vision for the future, I couldn’t help but feel so proud of our church and the partnership we built through our Reimagine series this past year.
When awards were handed out, The Crossing Church was honored with a “Partnership Appreciation” award alongside organizations like Amazon, The Home Depot, Intermountain Health, and Citibank and we were genuinely amazed to see a nonprofit church recognized in that space.
But what impacted me most came afterward, when a Habitat volunteer made her way over just to tell us how much she loves working with our teams. She shared that our volunteers are always willing to jump in, serve with joy, and bring something truly special with them.”

A team of 26 people joined Proem Ministries in Poland for the Kontakt Volunteer Festival, serving alongside hundreds of volunteers committed to making a difference in local communities. More than completing projects, they invested in people through acts of service, encouragement, and the love of Christ. The experience strengthened our team's faith, deepened relationships, and supported Proem's ongoing mission of bringing hope and transformation to communities throughout Poland.
“One of the most meaningful projects our team has been privileged to participate in is the restoration of the historic Jewish cemetery in Tomaszów, Poland. This cemetery dates back more than 200 years and serves as a sacred resting place for generations of Jewish families who once lived in the region. During World War II, however, the cemetery suffered a tragic violation. German occupiers removed many of the headstones and used them to build sidewalks, patios, and other structures throughout the community. These stones were not taken because of a shortage of materials. Rather, they were deliberately removed as an act of disrespect toward the Jewish people and their heritage.
Today, a dedicated team from PROEM is working to restore dignity and honor to this sacred place. Volunteers are carefully uncovering, cleaning, and documenting each headstone. Photographs and inscriptions are being recorded so that the Hebrew text can be translated and preserved. This effort helps identify those who are buried there and creates a historical record that may one day reconnect descendants with their family's history. It is a privilege to partner with PROEM in this important work restoring dignity to a place that endured profound injustice and helping preserve an important piece of history for future generations.”

The Crossing was delighted to provide Flamingo Freeze shaved ice for Casa de Luz's Juneteenth celebration. We are grateful to partner with organizations that create meaningful opportunities for community connection and celebration.
“Our Juneteenth park celebration was filled with laughter, learning, and plenty of fun! After spending the week learning about the history and significance of Juneteenth, kids from all 5 neighborhoods came together for an afternoon of water fights, Flamingo Freeze shaved ice, and a celebration as a community. It was a joyful day of connection, smiles, and making summer memories together.”
