Y SCHOOL ACTIVITY REPORT- KENNEDY SECONDAR OUP SCHOOL ENTEBBE- GET UR MIX OUT FOCUSED GR OUTREACH

n 15th February 2013, Reach a Hand Uganda with support from Child Africa made its first school outreach program that launched the Get ur Mix Out!- “My Body, My life, My Choice” campaign 2013 funded by the MTV staying alive foundation.
This was the first of the three school visit that RAHU is supposed to make per school this year. This was a focused or interest based discussion with different students that were grouped according to their level in school. The S.1s and S.2s in one group, A-level girls together and A-level boys in another group. Mrs. Julie Solberg the founder and Managing Director of Child Africa and the Bwinga magazine had a one on one with the girls in A-level while the RAHU team interacted with the other student groups. AIMS • Launch Reach a Hand Uganda programs in the school. • To assess the school environment and determine the outstanding Sexual Reproductive Health and other issues that affect the student and school community. • Reach out to over 100 students across the school. • Determine the SRH needs of the student community. • Introduce Bwinga – “The Champion within” to S1 and S2 students
