“FEELS LIKE HOME, LIVES LIKE FAMILY”

My Grandparent’s house was just one of those homes.

Right in the heart of West Allis, it was a gathering place for countless people for over 6 decades. Their house was by no means a big, fancy house. Yet my grandparents knew how to fit truckloads of laughter and great memories into that 1,400-square foot home. Family, friends, & neighbors would frequently stop-by for “quick visits” that turned into several hours. (Maybe it was a long conversation about science fiction with my Grandma that began with returning a borrowed book. Or maybe a couple beers with my Grandpa in his shop that began with returning a borrowed tool. Sometimes it was a Packer party in which the game went into overtime. Or a Christmas party that went till midnight.) It didn’t matter the reason. Once you came, you didn’t want to leave. Everyone was welcome as strangers quickly became friends, and friends became family. It always felt like home.

And the family gatherings! Those were my favorite as a child. Our McLean family gatherings were times for me to reconnect and share stories with all my cousins, some of whom I hadn’t seen in months, sometimes years! Our family also “adopted” many people who we weren’t biologically related to, but still considered family. We would connect over tons of delicious food, find out what’s new in each other’s lives, and play games together for hours.

The sound of rock music from the stereo and the smell of food on the grill in the background are nostalgic to me.

Those are some of my favorite memories.

More than anything, there was a strong sense of belonging. Everyone who attended those family gatherings had a place at the table. They were reminded, more by actions than by words, that they were loved and appreciated. I later realized that many times, my grandparents would find out about someone who had fallen on hard times at those gatherings. My Grandpa would take them off to the side and generously give them what they needed to get by for a while. He & Grandma taught us to truly take care of others as if they were your own family.

The reason Claire and I fell in love with Realty Executives Integrity is because it’s unlike any company we’ve ever seen. It feels much more like a family than a corporation. Every day, I experience sights and sounds between our offices similar to what I experienced at my grandparent’s house when I was a child. It’s the way Morgan Schnabl welcomes a new Executive into Success Coaching and makes them feel supported as they take their first steps in real estate. It’s the handshakes and hugs as Mary Edwards helps a young couple close on their very first home.

It’s the encouraging “palabras” that Dale gifts at our Dinners of Honor. It’s the applause from hundreds of people as Gene Anderson receives his Legend Award. It’s the smiles and laughter as Noah and Micky record another fantastic video for one of our Sales Executives. It’s the way our community is always so willing to help each other’s businesses with selfless generosity. (I could go on, but Haley gave me a limit on how long this article should be.)

I’m so grateful for my Realty Executives Integrity family. I can’t wait for our Family Reunion on September 9th. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with all of you, telling some stories, and sharing in the ups & downs of life. There isn’t a doubt in my mind that it will feel like home and live like family.

GET TO KNOW | HALEY REYNOLDS Almost immediately after meeting Haley in her initial interview for Realty Executives Integrity, we knew without a doubt that she’d be a perfect fit for this company.

Haley exudes joy everywhere she goes and we are very lucky to have her! She began with our company by working at the front desk in our Hartland Office, but she quickly realized a desire to help our Executives grow their businesses in the areas of marketing, communication and social media.

Now, as our “Director of Communications and Social Media”, Haley loves being able to help ALL our amazing Executives grow their businesses through the different types of social media platforms with creative and engaging content.

Every day, she readily and enthusiastically meets with Executives to teach them how to maximize their reach on Facebook, or how to come up with creative new posts for Instagram. “I love helping our Executives realize that social media doesn’t need to be intimidating. I also enjoy building relationships of trust with our Executives by serving them and getting to know their stories.”

In addition to helping our entire company in the areas of social media and communication, Haley also obtained her real estate license. Her personality, character, and talents have allowed her to become a great Realtor® in addition to everything else she does so well. She has been working her way through Morgan’s Success Coaching program and will be graduating soon!

Haley carries a passion for all her work that is contagious. She says, “I’m still in disbelief that I can wake up every day and do what I do at Realty Executives Integrity. I feel so blessed!”

As a true lifelong learner, Haley aspires to continue learning, growing, and working hard to continue to get better and help many more people in our company. “Any success I achieve for Realty Executives Integrity is rooted in my appreciation for our Executives and my love for what I do.”

Haley emboldens a spirit of adventure. When she’s not serving others at Realty Executives Integrity, you’re likely to find her spending time outdoors.

She enjoys going on hikes with her boyfriend, Max, often bringing their two dogs along with them. Haley said, “If I could hike and explore National Parks all day, every day, I would!” Haley also enjoys spending time with her family and playing tennis.

Some fun facts: Haley graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Business. Also, she’s a total animal lover! She has two dogs and a cat. Their names are Everest, Denver & Theo.

As you get to know Haley, you’ll quickly notice her humble heart and her enthusiasm for helping others. She’s kind, creative, and smart! And she is always eager to serve you and your business!

TIME TO CELEBRATE TINA FERLINDES 34 Year Anniversary

I have been with Realty Executives for 34 years! Time sure flies!

I have lots of reasons I love of being with this amazing company... and my favorite aspect of Realty Executives is its people. Our people are the heart of this company. It is wonderful being surrounded by colleagues, staff & leadership that all have a like philosophy of servitude, kindness and the desire to be the best we can be, in big and small ways alike. We truly are a family that helps one another, works together and really want to make a difference. The support and freedom that I enjoy at Realty Executives has helped me grow my business and better serve my clients.

After being in the business 35 years I have learned a lot! I have learned that the work is important.When I first started selling real estate I was awfully young..just 21 years old. At that time, no one talked with me about the value of what we do and the impact of our skills & our guidance or how that affects those we serve. I learned along the way that doing my best, doing the work....that comes first, the rest will come. The closing is not about me. I would also tell my younger self to set goals early on and and enjoy each day as it comes...good, bad or otherwise.

When asked what I love most about being a real estate agent, the answer is simple: My people! (yes, they are my people!) I love being a part of such an important and special time in their lives. I value the friendships that I have made along the way...and it is so amazing to see my clients become friends. I love seeing them grow through different phases in their lives, and being a part of that. It is such so much fun, a true joy and an honor for me. Nothing better than helping Grandma & Grandpa, parents, kids, and siblings all in the same family!

Rich was also the Broker Owner of the largest Realty Executives Brokerage in the world, with over 1,200 agents. Dale connected with Rich during one of our Realty Executives International Conferences. It was during that trip, that Rich shared the Dinner of Honor concept with Dale. Bringing quality agents to our Brokerage has always been important to us and Dale asked Rich to share a little about how he brought so many quality agents to his brokerage. The answer was simple…. You GET quality Sales Executives FROM quality Sales Executives. Rich went on to further explain the concept of the Dinner of Honor. You invite your Sales Executives to a dinner where you can honor and pour into them. Encourage them to invite a guest in the industry to join them for dinner and spend the evening sharing a meal, telling stories, laughing and honoring one another. Rich shared, it’s a great way for others to see who we are and the why behind everything we do. We immediately made plans to create our own version of the Dinner of Honor. Our very first Dinner of Honor was held in 2017 at Maggiano’s and three years later they are stronger than ever. We’ve added our little touches along the way. Sometimes there’s live music, sometimes there are games with prizes, sometimes there are spouses there that also get honored. One thing remains the same though… we get to continue honoring our current Sales Executives while having a great meal and great conversation! As a result of these special evenings, many Dinner of Honor guests have made the decision to join our Realty Executives family and we have been thrilled.
