““I have to admit that going to a class whether virtual or in person is not my favorite activity. No matter how wide awake I am, the minute I get settled in my seat I begin to get antsy and my eyes start to close. However this was not the case with the Star Power Class. We met once a month as a group to discuss the subject dujour and learn the various components of how to build a team. During the time between sessions there was a selected book to read and a smaller group activity. While our group brought different perspectives to our discussion on the book, more important to me was the brainstorming on how we were personally building our teams. Between reading and discussing the books and listening to the monthly presenters my takeaway was that there are many ways to form a team, some contrary to what we were initially thinking.
