Message from The System is the Solution The Partners In what areas can your business or personal life benefit from a system?

This is something that my mom taught me from early on and I was reminded of it recently when reading the E-Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber. Why is it that things that are proven to work so well can be easily forgotten? Most likely because we don’t continue to honor the systems we have in place, or perhaps we need to create a system that works well in our situation.

Going into 2021, I knew that I was lacking systems in some areas of my life. Now that we are six months into the year; I have worked hard to implement several new systems where needed. While I know that I still have areas to develop, it’s a start for sure and it’s a great feeling to see the progress and enjoy the benefits for myself and others I serve.

So here’s a good question to consider: Where are you lacking systems in your life? Is it in your business, in your family life, with your kids or with your eating habits? All of these areas can benefit from having a system in place that keeps you on track.

Schedule time away to recharge.

You will find that you come back refreshed and you will better be able to serve your clients. It’s okay to tag team with another agent at our brokerage. Several agents do this really well… it’s the "you cover me while I’m away and I’ll cover you while you are away" mentality.

Whether you use a printed calendar book or an online calendar…

I have found the key is to plan it ON the calendar! Allow yourself some grace and flexibility but do your best to stick to it! Remember, the system is the solution, but it only works if you follow it.
