We are looking forward to gathering for our annual Holiday Party on December 17th from 11:00 - 1:00PM. As you know, our events usually surround charities as an opportunity to give back. In light of recent local news, we have decided to raise money in solidarity with the United for Waukesha Community Fund after the tragic event at the Waukesha Christmas Parade. All funds from the Gingerbread House contest will go directly to the Waukesha Fund as an opportunity to make a difference in our community and place we call home.

A Loving Tribute to

Kristi Artiles Dec. 21st 1966 – Sept. 27th 2021

When Kristi Artiles expressed interest in joining

Realty Executives Integrity along with her friends, Tina Catalanotte, Sue Heitz, and Kim Schedler to form the “Your Team”, it was a very exciting day. Dale & Vicky knew this team well, especially Kristi, by her reputation as a Top Producing REALTOR®, well known for her kindness and cooperation with other REALTORS®.

After Your Team joined us and took private office space in our Lake Country Office in Hartland, Kristi soon became an office leader, and was admired by everyone she met within our Realty Executives Family.

"Kristi always entered the room with a captivating smile from the depths of her heart."

It has been my privilege to spend time with Kristi on a regular basis, to discuss ideas for growing her business, and consider ways to strengthen her team. I’ve said this from the day I met these four special ladies who formed Your Team; they have such a unique team, unlike any other Real Estate Team I know. With each team member equally sharing all expenses, and all commission income, it was truly a team of equals in every way. I watched in amazement as each one found their own way to support their team, and when life hit one of them hard, the other team members would provide coverage, love, and a lending hand. Kristi was always leading the way with her Spirit of Kindness, and she served others with a joyful heart that was truly inspirational. Over those years we became even more connected with Kristi, and our admiration went deeper, as we developed a friendship built upon mutual values, and trust.

And then life hit Kristi and her family hard in the form of cancer, that would send most of us into hiding, but not Kristi. She hit back, and began to fight with a deep faith that constantly reminded us of what is most important in this life: an eternal perspective. Kristi also began to write and share details from her heart. We were honored to receive her ongoing updates, revealing her continual struggle with an enemy called “cancer” that would not be defeated. After one of her most discouraging reports, Kristi shared with us: “But I am continuing to fight. I will not give up.” And she never did, not even in the darkest times; she never gave up her fight.

When Tina shared the news of Kristi’s move to Hospice, I responded with these words that explain why we honor her this month. I’ve looked back on all of the messages Kristi has sent to me since the moment she first knew and it reminds me of how lovely and truly precious she is, and has always been. Her fighting spirit, care and concern for others before herself, and hope at a level I’ve never witnessed before, has changed my life. Kristi has finished well, and she has put so many things in perspective for me. I’m better for the time I was honored to share with her, and will hold her story in my heart and share with others for my remaining days. Her legacy will live on. That’s why we share Kristi’s story with all of you this month.

And so her legacy does live on, in all of our hearts, as we continue to follow Kristi’s example of a life well lived.
