Creative Film Production Studio
ArchiMorphs is an architectural concept that brings together the city’s context to create a unique and experimental approach to building design. This concept is inspired by the popular animated television series Transformers, where multiple Transformers can combine to create one entity. In ArchiMorphs, the overall main geometry resources its form from its context, reconfiguring contextual building forms in unconventional but exciting new ways. The result is a geometry that creates new relationships between buildings, materials, and space.
ArchiMorphs has now introduced Filmicron, the latest addition to its successful toy model kit line, which reimagines the conventional film studio configuration. Filmicron is a film production studio situated within the industrial harbor of Red Hook, Brooklyn. By utilizing its surroundings of the industrial environment, it creates a unique design that is both functional and visually intriguing, opposing the typical mat configuration of a film studio and instead creating a tower like configuration that reflects the creative nature of these film spaces.

Glimpses per second
Future Trans-Continental Transit Station
Studio 9 | Instructor: Paulette Singly | Los Angeles, California | Fall 2022
Glimpses Per Second - A project that revolves around a subliminal momentary human experience people encounter almost everyday.
As people constantly travel and take public transit, their paths intersect with the paths of many other human beings on their own path through their lives. In some cases, these intersections of life may be significant, but more often are just momentary glances that we exchange with another person and never see them again. People may not think about the overall significance of all the events and happenings that led to this moment, which was only possible by being at the right place at the right time.
This project aims to highlight the subliminal momentary connections we may experience with another stranger:
a quick visual connection, a fleeting glance of the face of another human being on their own path in life, and then never seeing them again. This subliminal experience is magnified with this transit center, through the inspiration of early animation tools as a fenestration strategy. A zoetrope uses the motion of a wheel with slightly different frames to produce the illusion of a moving image therefor, creating partitions with similar apertures is used within the station to create the same effect. But rather seeing a continuous image, the individual would experience seeing different faces of other individuals on the opposite side, creating a subliminal experience of short glimpses and highlighting these swift momentary connections with hundreds of strangers as an individual makes their way to their destination.

Studio 7 | Instructor: Matthew Gillis | Arts District, Los Angeles | Fall 2021
The importance a society attaches to its children is reflected in the quality of the architecture of the childcare centers it creates. The idea of a justice center represents more than a place where its citizens gather and delegate with one another. Today these centers represent the communities they serve, and thus, should be is a place of refuge and sanctuary where everyone can feel safe and protected. Focusing on the aspect of family justice, this project is directed towards those experiencing domestic violence, abuse, and juvenile matters. Situations and issues that would
be considered intimate and private for all those being affected by these issues. The question is: how can architecture participate in the role of these injustices? A space where children and family can feel protected, safe and cared for with a high level of privacy became the overall goal of this project. This is a building that hopes to humbly serve and give back to the community that provides children and families an escape from the dangers of the outside world and provide children a protected space where they can be educated about these difficult issues and feel cared for.

res-solution
Communal Educational Research Center
Res-Solution is a research and education building that aims to find optimistic solutions to the issue of sea level rising as well as to explore spatial relationships of contrasting forms. The major issue of sea level rising is time. Therefore, one of our main ideas is the concept of past, present and future. It is incorporated in the design by representing the past with an
organic form which can be referred to as high resolution and the future with a low poly form equaling low resolution. The theme of low and high resolution is the other major influencer of the overall design. It defined the shape, quality of spaces and structure as it creates an ambiguity between what is low and high resolution space.

JACKSON FAMILY RETREAT BIG SUR, CA
The ability to make technically clear drawings, write outline specifications, and prepare models illustrating and identifying the assembly of materials, systems, and components appropriate for a building design are essential skills within the professional field or architecture. The Revit BIM application allows a smooth workflow, allowing for quick and detailed plans. The project created here is located at the base of a canyon in the Big Sur
area of Northern California, this 2,500 square foot 2 bedroom house was built for a family to enjoy together on the weekends and holidays. This retreat, composed of four volumes, is on a site dominated by steep canyon walls. The challenge was creating a structure with weight that sat lightly on the land, respecting the ecological fragility of the site and being attune to its forces. The Jackson Family Retreat holds its own, neither dominating nor dwarfing the site..
