YEAR IN REVIEW 2021

2021 WAS A PHENOMENAL YEAR As we start off 2022, we would like to thank you for trusting us with your real estate needs. We are grateful for the relationships we have built over the past 30 years as a brokerage! We strive to continually provide the best service possible to our clients by providing our agents and staff the most up to date tools available. We've brought in several guest speakers to educate and motivate our agents and staff. We also provide consistent learning opportunities with classes taught by our own licensed agents. In 2021 we hired Scotty Smiley as our in-house Leadership Development Coordinator. He will be working with our agents to hone their time management, leadership and service skills.

2022 brings us to our Designated Broker's 43rd year in Real Estate and our office's 30th Anniversary! There isn't much Dave hasn't seen or heard in his 40+ year career. Our agents have the distinct advantage of a designated Broker who knows how to handle any situation while striving to find a win-win situation when dealing with complicated transactions. 2021 has brought some exciting improvements to our community! With both Amazon and Darigold committing to build facilities in Franklin County, we will see over 2000 new jobs created. The Tri Cities continues to be not only a wonderful place to live, but a wonderful place to do business. Several other companies are moving into the Tri Cities that will continue to create and maintain a strong economic base. And the future looks bright! Our development clients, who we have served for many years, have just closed on home development projects that will create thousands of new homes over the next 10 years. We are honored to play a role in helping homeownership grow in the Tri-Cities.

MARKET REVIEW 2021 was another incredible year! Even with low inventory, the Tri-Cities saw another record year for home sales. The fast-paced housing market, however, made it very difficult for those needing to sell their home before purchasing a new home. Finding a solution for our clients became imperative. Dave Retter met with local financial institutions and found one that was willing to create the Retter Residential Bridge Loan. With this program, purchasers can buy a new home before selling their current one! Unlike a traditional bridge loan, the Retter Residential plan requires that buyers need only qualify for their new home mortgage while using the equity in their current home. It was a game changer for a lot of families who would not have been able to buy their dream home without it.
