Students demonstrated strong engagement as they examined how antibody–antigen binding facilitates the detection of specific proteins, including those located within the nucleus of the cell. The module encouraged critical thinking and reinforced core scientific principles underpinning modern medical research.

Despite the advanced laboratory setting, the teaching approach incorporated traditional instructional methods, including the use of a whiteboard and guided discussion. This balance of conventional and contemporary teaching tools supported active learning and meaningful student participation.

A short video produced by the participating MED2 students documents their five-day hands-on laboratory experience at RCSI Medical University of Bahrain, offering insight into how laboratory-based research informs real-world healthcare practice.
