The Private Life of Ningnong

Ningnong is the cuddly little cat of Richard and Nana who live in Thailand and in spring of 2023

Richard started to make daily cartoons of life from Ningnong’s point of view.

Ningnong was a stray kitten who turned up on the doorstep one great day. As we couldn’t find her original owner, we adopted her... the rest is history. You could safely say she changed our life and everyday brings us love and mischief.

This book came about through the discovery of a very good mobile phone application called Comica that I discovered in March 2023.

I was inspired to bring the inner complexities, dreams, hopes, and everyday life of Ningnong to a wider public.

Richard Crookes is fairly well known for his oracle card illustration work, book covers and calligraphic works, having been a professional freelance artist even from his school days.

He is the illustrator for The Angels of Atlantis Oracle Cards, The Astrology Reading Cards, The Angel and Gemstone Guardian Cards, The Witches’ Wisdom Oracle Cards and many more.

As well as being an illustrator, Richard also designs book interiors for Findhorn Press, is a professional calligrapher and experimental musician.
