As we gallop into May, my heart is with all those affected by the recent storms and flooding across Kentucky. I’m thinking of families, neighbors, and CommUnities working through recovery with the strength and resilience that define the Bluegrass.
Amid the challenges, the first Saturday in May offers us all a much-needed moment of Tradition and Joy as Kentuckians, along with the country and the world, come together to celebrate the greatest two minutes in sports: the Kentucky Derby. Hats, outfits, and KY Bourbon never disappoint.
The Derby holds a unique place in history it's the only sporting event in America to have run every year since its inception in 1875, through wars, recessions, and even the pandemic. That kind of consistency, spirit, and momentum is something we can all draw inspiration from, especially for those of us in healthcare revenue cycle.
From our team to yours, we hope this issue of RCM Connections brings insight, inspiration, and a little springtime energy
As always, much love from your favorite University of Kentucky (UK, #BBN) grad,
Jena Eggert Editor-in-Chief, RCM Connections
