What’s happening Rosslare Community & Sports Centre – Work is continuing on our new ground floor community room and we hope to be able to determine a completion date in the coming weeks. In the meantime, for your health and safety, we ask that you continue to use only the front entrance of the building. As work progresses, we may have to close the main indoor sports hall, causing some disruption, but all groups using the facility will be notified if this needs to happen. You can be assured everything will be done to minimise risk to our users and disruption to the day to day activities in the centre. We look forward to welcoming you to our “access to all” fully functional ground floor community room. On behalf of the RCDA we would like to thank all the supporting groups during the Leader funding application. However, we will need to actively fundraise for the remaining costs and to replace our heating system, which as many of you are aware has not been working for some time. We are also keen to refurbish our crazy golf course. Keep those winter chills at bay – they seem to be hanging around for a little while longer than seems fair!

Printing Service – NOW AVAILABLE in Rosslare Community & Sports Centre. Offering internet access, print/scan/copy, laminating service, create documents, email in what you need done and we will have it ready for you. Call to the office upstairs in the Centre, Subject to availability, Competitive Prices, High Quality Service.

Befriending Group The befriending service offers companionship to older people through weekly visits & telephone calls.

Volunteers are trained by ‘Alone’ and are Garda vetted & reference checked. We complement other services but do not replace them. Self referrals & professional referrals are welcome. Walking Football Programme Every Tuesday @ 12pm in Rosslare Strand. This initiative from the FAI is available to players 50yrs + with an emphasis on keeping active in a relaxed and fun environment with the post match cuppa lasting longer than the game.
