Marlo Allen: The Lion Tamer August 7th on a calm summer night, Marlo was born into an unusally depressing decade for her Village. With normal Livestock cut extremely short the TownsPeople turned to eating Wild Cats to survive. Something Marlo couldn’t manage to do, for she always felt connected to the big beasts. So when a high Elder threathened to kill a group of cubs in front of her, you can only assume she didn’t hesitate to take his life. Sadly gaining her an immedate excile from her home. But she was okay with her fate, because she found a new home in her feline family.

Jazmyn Royall: The Priestess Jazmyn at a young age joined the order of the Tribunal Knights after both her mother and father were mysteriously taken away from her. Alone and filled with anger the order taught her to harness the unusally large amount of mana she had stored up over the years. The Guild at first was meant to protect people, and she found peace in her new home. But her home became a prison slowly learning the blood on their hands So she fled with the most powerful book in their possesion “The Tribunal Grimore� A book of spells that taught her how to truly protect herself,but also resuce the many other children lost in the lies of the guild

Lisanne Lyle: The Pheonix Lisanne was a quiet child who kept to her many swords and books. At the age of six she was reading at a level far above women twice her age. She also was showing clear signs in the ability to manipulate magic. However, the day came known as “Red Sun” and her family like most of her Kingdom were burnt to ash by a great firey beast. The Pheonix died the same morning and its ashes rained across the sky, and as they scattered down they bathed over the only survivor left alive. Little young Lisanne. And as the Phenoix was born again so was she from it’s ashes, harnessing the power of a firey God.

Stacy Lyle: Queen of the Iron Mountains For a woman who’s only dream was to travel the world and explore the seven seas, having a surprise baby can easily crush those dreams. Especially, when that girl’s father is the hand to the King, and the father of the baby is no more then a bakers boy. So without much of her input, he hid his daughters shame and sent the baby far away. Never to be seen again by its mother. And while the child may not have been wanted, this event triggered something in Stacy. Creating a warrior who’s heroic ballads still ring throughout the taverns today. And Giving birth to the queen who would one day rule the land from the tip of Iron mountains, all the way down to the Pheonix Desert thousands of miles away.

Artist Statement I belive that Women are a key foundation to everyday life in our soceiy. One of my favorite quotes has always been, “Behind every great man, is a great woman.” I always held this quote close to my heart mainly because all my sucess in life has stemed from the teachings and nurtuing of women. I was raised in a struggling single mother home for most of my life, and if I wasn’t livinng with my mom then I was staying with my grandmother. A difficult task to do alone, I have no doubt about that In addition, some of the most intelligent and inspring friends I have are women. Even, for my senior prom I had no man by my side, only four of my aunts combing my hair and tying my tie for me. So, this project is to show my appreciation and admiration I not only have for women, but specifcally strong black women who I know persona;;y.
