ROTARY BAL VATSALYA KENDRA Our club has started a Bal Vatsalya Kendra in Amreli. Basically its a child development & educational training center for rural & slum area children. This project is started after a motivational visit of Happy School of RC Rajkot Greater and Dhinka Chika project by Surat during Pravas - Car Rally organized by RID 3060. We identified slum areas in the city and surveyed for the childrens in this areas. We approached many institutions for a hand of help and luckily SBI – RSETI has agreed to help us and provided us the place in their institute. We arraigned a care taker for this childrens and started this center on 22nd of Feb 2021. We are glad to see that on the very 1st day of this center, nearly 35 childrens were present and this figure is now increasing day by day. As of now there are 109 childrens coming to this center. Care taker trains these childrens on how to Brush teeth, taking Bath, Combing their Hair & Dressing, etc. Club member Rtn. Suresh Trivedi & Rtn. Dhaval Thakar looks after this project and also teaches the childrens basic knowledge. This center is open daily from 8:30 to 11:30 in morning and a healthy meal is giving to all children which attract them for coming here. Our aim is to educate maximum children of slum areas. Recurring cost of around Rs.6000-8000/- is barred by club members and SBI-RSETI. By this project club is gaining public image in the lower class of the society.


MIYAWAKI FOREST Club has developed 2 Miyawaki Forests of 100 Sq. Mtr. each at Deaf & Dumb School Amreli. This method used for tree plantation is in self a innovative way and by this method we can plant more trees in a small area compared to our traditional planting method. While in this Miyawaki Forest method approx. 350 trees can be planted in 100 Sq. Mtr. area besides approx. 80-100 trees by traditional method thus helping Rotarys new area of focus Environment. Among this, the plantation will be self sustainable after a period of 12 to 18 months where its takes a lot of efforts, precious care and time consuming in other methods. In this method we can select trees and plants depending on surrounding environment thus helping in creating a better place to live for birds.



PROJECT AADHAR - MEDICAL EQUIPMENT Project Aadhar is a project in which our club provides Medical Equipment's to patients on a refundable deposit basis. This project was started on the Charter Installation of Club as a thought to serve the society from the very 1st day of the club. On an initial stage we filtered Medical Equipment's like Air Bed, Water Bed, Toilet Chair, Walking Stand & Sticks, Medical Beds, ect. and approached many local donors to donate for this cause. The total amount of these equipment's was around 1.50 Lakhs INR. Fortunately in a very short period of time our Donors agreed to give a handsome amount for this project. Club members fulfilled the remaining part of the amount and the project we started. The whole project is managed by club member Rtn. Trilok Bhatt and all the equipment's are kept at Deaf & Dumb School Amreli. The patient / beneficiary are asked to pay a deposit amount depending on the equipment needed & on the returning the equipment the deposit amount is refunded to the beneficiary. A complete record book is maintained for this project. Many beneficiaries also donated the deposit amount which helps in the recurring cost of the project. Many other local donors keeps on helping this project as a result of which, this project is now having Medical Equipment's of more than 5.75 Lakhs including two oxygen concentrate machines. This project is now having a vast effect on society and benefiting more than 8,000 beneficiaries till date thus helping the club build a better Public Image in the society.


OXYGEN CYLINDER BANK Club had started Oxygen Bank during the 2nd wave of Covid-19 for the needy patients at refundable deposit basis. Club has total of 66 jumbo oxygen cylinders & 4 Oxygen Concentrator Machines. This was all gathered with help of local donors, who were impressed by our clubs activities and public image. As of now there are many patients in the city who requires an oxygen cylinder of their regular treatment. This project is now gaining faith & trustworthiness of the club and building a good public image in the society.

A
BLOOD DONATION CAMP Donation Camp has been organized by Rotary Club of Amreli Gir for children with thalassemia and pregnant women coming to the hospital in need of blood. total of 89 bottles of blood were collected and distributed to the Red Cross Blood Bank for the beneficiaries.



PROJECT ANNPURNA CLUB DISTRIBUTED GROCERY KIT TO UNPRIVILEGED PEOPLES AND SCHOOL STUDENTS. THIS KIT CONTAINS MONTHLY GROCERY ITEMS USEFUL IN DAILY HOUSEHOLD LIVINGS. THIS KITS WERE SUPPORTED BY MEMBERS & OTHER DONORS.



TREE PLANTATION RC AMRELI GIR EXECUTED TREE PLANTATION PROJECT IN NEARBY ARES OF AMRELI WHICH WERE EFFECTED DUE TO TAUKTE CYCLONE. MANY TREES WERE REPLANTED. CLUB PLANTED 15,000 SAPLINGS IN A NURSERY & WERE DISTRIBUTED AMONG THE VILLAGES TO PLANT THEM. THIS SAPLINGS INCLUDES GENERAL AS WELL AS HERBAL & NUTRITIONAL PLANTS.


Audiology & Speech Therapy Center RC Amreli Gir has handed over today a Global Grant project Audiology & Speech Therapy Center to Deaf & Dumb School Amreli. The handover ceremony was done by PDG Prashant Jani. This center will provide diagnosis & treatment to community for deafness & dumbness. This was supported by Rotary Club of Emory Durid Hills Dist. 6900 USA.


RC Amreli Gir organized a Free Mega Cancer Detection camps for Breast & Cervical Cancers in Ladies and Prostate Cancer for Gent. RC AMRELI GIR In association with RC Emory Durid Hills (USA), RC Chikhli River Front & Alipore Hospital, organized Cancer Screening Camps of Mobile Cancer Detection Van for 11 Days from 15th to 25th July 2022 at 11 different villages of Amreli District. The screening was only done for Breast & Cervical Cancer.
TOTAL TESTING IS AS BELOW Total Screening – 1168 Mammography - 43 I - Brestxam – 592 Pap Smear – 362 X-Ray – 01 A huge response was seen during this camps helping in growing the Public Image of Rotary & Rotary Foundation This was the 1st day of camp which was arranged at Bhutiya. Club has also built a healthy Public Image in the society through these Camps.

Jones will officially become president-nominee on 1 October if no other candidates challenge her. He is blessed with Daughter Aditi and son Aditya , both are also PHF During his Presidential tenure ,he took commitment from the club to be a 100% donor club and its continuing till date , A sportsman, a cyclist , Major Donar also, recognised by many for his poetry and Shayri on Rotary foundation. Overall, Rtn. Shrikant Indani is a solid ROTARIAN with strong base of ROTARACT and huge passion for Rotary.

Shrikant Balkrishna Indani District Governor 2022-23 Rtn Shrikant Indani who believe s that friends and friendship is biggest asset for him born on 3rd August 1974 in Indani family. He is a hard core Rotarian with a Rotaractor's heart. He has completed his graduation in Computer Science with distinction. His varied interests continued in college years too and he participated in various competitions and Student Rights Movements. He was the "Student Of The Year" After graduation he joined his family business and took it a step ahead with establishment of Balkrishna Industries. Later in 1997 he joined Rotaract and according to him, his life got a new dimension. Next year he became the Secretary and in 2000- 2001 he became the President of Rotaract Club of Dondaicha (Com). He was honored with " Rotaractor Of The Year " trophy among the 2000 Rotaractors of RID 3060 at that time. Looking at his dedication and leadership qualities ,he was elected as DRR in year 2003-04,.That time also ,he made a record with hosting a 3 days assembly. In his Rotaract career Meantime, along with the family business of oil industry , he also entered into the business of building material sales. In 2006, he joined Rotary Club Of Dondaicha... , a prestigious club of RID 3060 with great legacy of various permanent projects. He then became the secretary of club in 2011. For his excellent work, he was recognized as Best Secretary in district awards. In 2013-14,he took over as the President of the Club and with some innovative projects, he attracted district's attention. In his Presidentship he done remarkable70+ projects which recognized him as a prominent president of district also awarded by RI Presidential Citation with Distinction with 100% donor club
