They was awarded with the project and instruments provided here & appreciated the project work. They also visited Rotary Bal Vatsalya Kendra & had a fun time with unprivileged children. Rtn. Pravinbhai also supported this kendra by donating Rs. 51,000/-. He was attached to this children & gave many ideas for their betterment. Had a great time with him and learnt a lot.

Science Project Fair at SSVM

Club organized a science project fair in association with SSVM school. This project was done to motivate the school students for their innovative projects. Club members helped this students with their projects and also guided them for taking part in this fair with their projects. Club invited parents and other citizens of the town to visit this science fair. A good public image was build with the help of this fair.

Project Annapurna

Club executed project Annapurna - Bhukhya Ne Bhojan, providing free meal to unprivileged community and workers and daily wagers to support them. This project was supported by club members Rtn. Jiten Dholakia, Rtn. Amar Kondhiya & Rtn. Pankaj Atara.

Traffic clearance

A unique project was undertaken by the Rotary Club of Amreli Gir. Traffic clearance. When the members of Rotary Gir were traveling, seeing the traffic jam, they immediately got off the bus and took their place to clear the traffic. People applauded the members for doing this work.

The Rotary Club of Amreli Gir provided food to all the elderly people of Amreli oldage home on International Women's Day.

Notebook Distribution at 10 Different Places

RC Amreli distributed full scape notebooks at a reasonable prices to promote literacy and help children in their studies. This distribution was done at 10 different points in Amreli town. A great from children and parents were noticed during this stalls and a good public image of club was build in the society.

Sanitary pad distribution on woman's day

Rotary Club of Amreli Gir distributed sanitary pads to needy sisters of Amreli on World Womens Day. Members of Innerwheel Club also joined in this project. Sanitary pads were provided to 215 sisters by Rotary Club of Amreli Gir.

Drawing competition

Members of Rotary Club of Amreli Gir held a meeting of HDFC Mutual Fund by Rotarian Anandbhai Zinzuwadiya. The parents of Amreli present in this seminar were happy by giving their children things like drawing paper, color, pad, pencil, etc. The children who drew the pictures were made happy by giving prizes, biscuits and chocolates.

HDFC Mutual fund awareness project

A meeting of HDFC mutual fund was held by Rotarian Anandbhai Zinzuwadiya, members of Rotary Club of Amreli Gir, and the people living in Amreli were informed to make their investments in the right place. All those who came were given food after the session. Rotary Club of Amreli Gir President Ambarish Rajyaguru congratulated the club members Anandbhai.

Stationary kit distribution at GKP village

On the occasion of the birthday of President Ambarish Rajyagurus sons, chocolates, stationery pouches containing scales, pencils, rubbers, ball pens, etc. were given to all the children of GKP Village Devalia Primary School by the Rotary Club of Amreli Gir to a total of 235 children of the primary school. Children were made happy by this project.

Encouraged the students of class 10th

In the class 10th and 12th board examination that started today, Rotary Club Amreli Gir encouraged the students of class 10th at the Saraswati Vidyamandir examination center in Amreli by giving them kumkum tilak and giving them a bouquet of flowers and putting salt in their mouths. In this program Rotary Club of Amreli Gir President Ro. Ambarish Rajyaguru and members were present and wished the welcomed examinees to be free from fear and take the exam calmly and get the best success. Along with this, gifts were also given to the students of Saraswati Vidyamandir and the children of members of Rotary Club of Amreli Gir.

Birthday Celebration At Deaf N Dumb School

The birthday of Khushi Bhatt, daughter of Rtn. Trilokbhai Bhatt, member of Rotary Club of Amreli Gir, was celebrated with her family at deaf n dumb School today. Cakes and snacks were given to the children by Khushiben. Members of Rotary Gir were specially present on this occasion.

Skill development project at khara primary school

A skill development project was conducted in Khara Primary School by Rotary Club of Amreli Gir. In this project, the materials required for the children to show their skills were provided by Rotary Gir. Village sarpanch, smc chairman were present on this occasion.

Distribute Lunch Box

On the occasion of Rotarian Pankajbhai Atara birthday today at Bal Vatsalya

Kendra run by Rotary Club of Amreli Gir, each child was given a lunch box by his family. And he filled the lunch box with breakfast and gave it to Rotary Gir.

World sparrow day celebration

World sparrow Day was celebrated by Rotary Club of Amreli Gir. On this day sparrow house were given in various primary schools of Amreli district. Eco club members helped in delivering this sparrow house. Rotary Club of Amreli Gir gave the message that children should protect the environment through this garland.

Save Earth Awareness Project

Earth and water awareness Project was done by Rotary Club of Amreli Gir. In todays project very useful information was given to the students about Earth and water awareness by Project Chair Dhavalsaheb. Rotary Gir taught information and practicals on how to keep save earth. The children of Innovative School were very happy to get this information.

Rotary club of Amreli Gir conducted khel mahakumbh at devaliya primary school under gram kalyan project. In this we conducted three games for children and distributed prize to winner and participation gift to all students

Repair toilets in community

The Rotary Club of Amreli Gir has self-reconstructed the urinal block at GKP village Devlia. This project was completed to be very useful for primary school children. Rotary Club of Amreli Gir was thanked by the Principal of the devaliya primary school.

Diabetes & Blood Pressure Screening Camp

Rotary and Rotaract Club of amreli gir organized Diabetes & Blood Pressure Screening Camp as part of One Day Nation One , One Million campaign at mota gokharwala village at early morning. A handsome beneficiaries were checked up in this camp and were also guided for Prevention & Cure for the decease by team of Doctors. A good public image of club was build during this camp.

Aayush mela

The Ayush Mela was organized by Rotarian Dr. Harishgiri Goswami and his team, members of Rotary Club of Amreli Gir. In this Ayush Mela, people were given free diagnosis of their disease. Medicines were also given to the people in this camp. Necessary items in this camp were provided by Rotary Club of Amreli Gir. President of Rotary Club of Amreli Gir Ambarish Rajyaguru congratulated the club member Dr. Harishgiri Goswami.

Joy of giving

Club members celebrated Joy of Giving by distributing Toys to the children of rural and backward areas nearby community. The toys were gathered with the help of club members. The children were happy to receive new toys and were thankful to Rotary.

Audiology & Speech Therapy Center

Club is running an Audiology & Speech Therapy at Deaf & Dumb School. This center is done under the Global Grant of Rotary Foundation & was supported by Rotary Club of Emory Durid Hills (Dist. 6900, USA) & RI Dist. 3060. The aim of this center is to provide diagnosis & treatment related to Deaf & Dumb community of nearby areas.

ROTARY BAL VATSALYA KENDRA

Our club has started a Bal Vatsalya Kendra in Amreli. Basically its a child development & educational training center for rural & slum area children. This project is started after a motivational visit of Happy School of RC Rajkot Greater and Dhinka Chika project by Surat during Pravas - Car Rally organized by RID 3060. We identified slum areas in the city and surveyed for the childrens in this areas. We approached many institutions for a hand of help and luckily SBI –RSETI has agreed to help us and provided us the place in their institute. We arraigned a care taker for this childrens and started this center on 22nd of Feb 2021. We are glad to see that on the very 1st day of this center, nearly 35 childrens were present and this figure is now increasing day by day. As of now there are 109 childrens coming to this center. Care taker trains these childrens on how to Brush teeth, taking Bath, Combing their Hair & Dressing, etc. Club member Rtn. Suresh Trivedi & Rtn. Dhaval Thakar looks after this project and also teaches the childrens basic knowledge. This center is open daily from 8:30 to 11:30 in morning and a healthy meal is giving to all children which attract them for coming here. Our aim is to educate maximum children of slum areas. Recurring cost of around Rs.6000-8000/- is barred by club members and SBI-RSETI. By this project club is gaining public image in the lower class of the society.

OXYGEN CYLINDER BANK

Club had started Oxygen Bank during the 2nd wave of Covid-19 for the needy patients at refundable deposit basis. Club has total of 66 jumbo oxygen cylinders & 4 Oxygen Concentrator Machines. This was all gathered with help of local donors, who were impressed by our clubs activities and public image. As of now there are many patients in the city who requires an oxygen cylinder of their regular treatment. This project is now gaining faith & trustworthiness of the club and building a good public image in the society.

MIYAWAKI FOREST

Club has developed 2 Miyawaki Forests of 100 Sq. Mtr. each at Deaf & Dumb School Amreli. This method used for tree plantation is in self a innovative way and by this method we can plant more trees in a small area compared to our traditional planting method. While in this Miyawaki Forest method approx. 350 trees can be planted in 100 Sq. Mtr. area besides approx. 80-100 trees by traditional method thus helping Rotarys new area of focus Environment. Among this, the plantation will be self sustainable after a period of 12 to 18 months where its takes a lot of efforts, precious care and time consuming in other methods. In this method we can select trees and plants depending on surrounding environment thus helping in creating a better place to live for birds.

PROJECT AADHAR - MEDICAL EQUIPMENT

Project Aadhar is a project in which our club provides Medical Equipment's to patients on a refundable deposit basis. This project was started on the Charter Installation of Club as a thought to serve the society from the very 1st day of the club. On an initial stage we filtered Medical Equipment's like Air Bed, Water Bed, Toilet Chair, Walking Stand & Sticks, Medical Beds, ect. and approached many local donors to donate for this cause. The total amount of these equipment's was around 1.50 Lakhs INR. Fortunately in a very short period of time our Donors agreed to give a handsome amount for this project. Club members fulfilled the remaining part of the amount and the project we started. The whole project is managed by club member Rtn. Trilok Bhatt and all the equipment's are kept at Deaf & Dumb School – Amreli. The patient / beneficiary are asked to pay a deposit amount depending on the equipment needed & on the returning the equipment the deposit amount is refunded to the beneficiary. A complete record book is maintained for this project. Many beneficiaries also donated the deposit amount which helps in the recurring cost of the project. Many other local donors keeps on helping this project as a result of which, this project is now having Medical Equipment's of more than 5.75 Lakhs including two oxygen concentrate machines. This project is now having a vast effect on society and benefiting more than 8,000 beneficiaries till date thus helping the club build a better Public Image in the society.
