QUEERCOY Push Forward, Push Back will be installed in Allan Gardens during WorldPride

Toronto from June 27-29, 2014. The QUEERCOY experiment will adopt an approximation of a human form made from wire, cloth, papier-mache and surveillance equipment. The entire surface will be hand-painted by Nigel Nolan in a vibrant floral pattern. QUEERCOY will be found in and around Allan Gardens Toronto, witnessing and recording the occurrences that surround them. QUEERCOY will record accounts of their time at the festival - the celebrations, the unity, and the activism. This footage will be edited into a short film and shown alongside contrasting LGBTTIQQ2SA community experiences and hosted online.
