Pilates is a total body workout that promotes core strength, flexibility, good posture, and long lean muscles. Exercises are done on a mat with a focus on breath, flow, form, and muscular awareness. This class incorporates a mix of beginning and intermediate exercises including modifications as needed. Wear comfortable clothes for movement (fitness attire). Mats are available or you may bring your own.

Beginner’s Jazz Dance Techniques

Summer Games

Afterschool Program

The City of Glendale offers a dynamic drop-in afterschool recreation program that provides enriching recreation activities in a fun atmosphere. This including creative arts and crafts, recreational games, sports, STEAM/STEM experiments, homework help, and special events. Daily meals from St. Mary’s Food Bank are available to all participants. This non-licensed program allows participants to sign in and out without parental or guardian permission. In partnership with the Glendale Elementary School District, we follow their school release times and calendar.

The G.O.L.D. Teen Volunteer Program (Glendale’s Onsite Leadership Development program) offers young students a unique opportunity. By integrating work experience into our youth programs, G.O.L.D. members actively learn and receive supervision from experienced leaders in the recreation field.
