生於台灣的英籍設計師 Grace 自幼在企業家父親的潛移默化下，學習

了紀律、勤奮以及講究細節的重要性。同時也向母親學習藝術與書法， 養成對傳統、美學與工藝的鑑賞力，成為日後系列創作的靈感基礎。 自 Grace Han 品牌概念成形之初，Grace 便堅持理念，不容妥協。

因此在接下來的數年中，她全心精進工藝，期許自己除了設計包款，

更要具備精湛的製作能力。歷經在製包工坊兩年的學習與磨練後， Grace 邂逅了一位台灣國寶級打版師，兩人從台北的一間小公寓為起 點，踏上實現設計之夢的旅程。

Since childhood, Taiwanese born British designer Grace learned the value of discipline, hard-work, and attention to detail from her entrepreneurial father. Synchronously, studying art and calligraphy from her mother cultivated her appreciation for tradition, fine arts and craftsmanship; the basis of her collection inspiration.

When Grace began the journey of creating Grace Han, she knew that above all she must be uncompromising in her vision and therefore committed the following years to learning her craft; it was vital to her that she not only design her bags but be able to make them from the inside out. Following two years of apprenticeships in a handbag factory, Grace employed a pattern cutter and the two of them, in a small apartment in Taipei, worked on making her designs a reality.

GRACE HAN 百褶 Grace Han 的百褶歷經七年錘鍊以臻至完美，不僅為創新的經 典，更是 Grace 對品質的追求堅持不懈的實證。一段內省的經

歷啟發 Grace 著手創作她的百褶皮革作品。在那段內省的經

歷中，她從百褶皮革看見自己、母親對她的影響，以及 Grace Han 品牌所代表的女性。這些堅不可屈的線條卻展現無比的流 暢性，此一衝突完美詮釋了女性的多元面向與深刻底蘊，可剛 可柔，時而理性，時而感性。

起初，她實驗了各式各樣的織品，但她很快地發現，織品除了

質地不穩，也易磨損起毛、不耐用，因此 Grace 轉而嘗試熨燙 不同厚度的皮革。而製作百褶皮革需要高度的精準度與十足的 耐心，另一個挑戰，則是在合適的皮革種類與每一個摺疊角度

之間取得平衡。即使是協助 Grace 製作這款創新皮革精品的資 深工藝師，在她們長達四十年的手提包製作生涯中，都未曾見 過如此精密繁複的百褶皮革！

從旁人的眼中，看見了 Grace 的百褶皮革與母親畫作擁有相同 的元素，畫作中的白色直線條是象徵和平的中性色，通常由藍

色與綠色作為背景襯托，以平衡畫作構圖。唯有透過油彩層層 堆疊，才能帶出白色的亮度。如此費工的手法需要的是耐心與 對細節的重視，而製作 Grace Han 百褶皮革的工序亦是如此。

GRACE HAN PLEATS The Grace Han leather pleats are a signature innovation that took seven years to perfect, a testament to her persistence and commitment to quality. Grace was inspired to create the pleats during a period of introspection in which she came to see them as a physical representation of herself, her mother’s influence on her, and the women that encapsulate the brand. The contradicting fluidity of the unbending lines expresses perfectly the women who are multifaceted, profound, both soft and strong, rational and emotional.

In the beginning, various textiles were experimented with before moving on to ironing leathers of various thicknesses. Not only were textiles unstable but Grace soon found them ineffective in achieving

the effect she desired. Creating fine leather pleats would require top precision and a great deal of patience. The challenge that followed after was striking a balance between the right type of leather and the angle of each fold. The craftswomen who assisted Grace in developing this innovation had never encountered such intricate leather pleats in their 40 year-long career of hand-making bags!

It was later revealed that Grace’s leather pleats somewhat emulated the straight white lines in her mother’s collection of paintings. White, as a neutral colour symbolising peace, was often painted against a backdrop of blue and green strokes to balance the artwork’s composition. Its brightness could only be achieved by building layers of oil paint, an arduous process that required patience and attention to detail, much like creating the Grace Han leather pleats.

訂製金屬配件 百褶造型對 Grace 日後的各式包款設計有著深遠影響，就連包

款金屬配件的形狀與細節樣式也不例外。而對巴洛克建築的熱愛 則是她的另一個靈感泉源。Grace 打造的金屬配件形狀蘊藏了她

個人對弧型與層疊的詮釋，讓人聯想到巴洛克時期的藝術風格。 這些訂製的金屬配件以簡約、優雅、耐磨又細緻的外形，襯托了 Grace Han 包款。

訂製金屬配件往往需要經過長達數月的微調、對數百個原型進行 壓力測試，才能進入製造階段。接著，合作廠商會在製程中運用 最新技術，確保金屬配件不會遭到腐蝕、生鏽或沾污。Grace 持

續與她的金屬配件設計師密切合作，確保金屬配件的品質、金屬 色澤與形狀都恰到好處，發揮預期的功能，充分襯托皮革而非喧 賓奪主，因為平衡才是一切的關鍵。

BESPOKE HARDWARE The pleats came to influence many of Grace’s evolving bag designs, even down to the shapes and subtle patterns of the hardware.

She also took inspiration from her love for Baroque architecture, with the shapes reflecting her interpretation of the arcs and layers synonymous with the movement. They complement our bags with their simplicity, elegance, durability and slender form.

Bespoke hardware can require months of tweaking and stresstesting hundreds of prototypes before moving on to the production stage. Our hardware partner then uses the latest technology during manufacturing, which ensures our hardware does not corrode, rust, or stain. Grace has always worked closely with her hardware designer to ensure the right quality, metallic hues, and shapes met the desired unctions and complemented the leather rather than stealing its limelight. Balance was key.

Grace 設計時喜歡閉上眼睛，想像未來擁有她的設計包款的人過著

什麼樣的生活。如同母親天生了解孩子的需要，Grace 同樣深諳使

用者對她所設計的包款有什麼樣的期待。結合她的洞察與善用素材 的能力，再注入自己個人風格，Grace Han 皮革手袋就此誕生。

THE MAKING OF GRACE HAN BAGS It can take three months to one year and hundreds of prototypes to perfect a single Grace Han design, the same way good artwork takes time. And it’s no surprise when one considers Grace’s diligence in striking the right balance between aesthetics, form, and quality. Over the course of the years, with exquisite craftsmanship and time honed to perfection, countless leather samples, bag prototypes and hardwares were experimented – a reflection of Grace’s resilient character.

When Grace designs, she likes to close her eyes and imagine the life of the person she’s designing for. Like a mother who intrinsically knows what her child needs, Grace understands what the user desires from their bags. She then combines her knowledge and ability to manipulate materials and incorporates her personal style into the bag design.

從倫敦開始，在英國受到注目，英國對奢華時尚品牌 Grace Han 來說，

是起點，也是轉捩點。Grace Han 首席設計師 Grace 更是謹記父親教誨與

慈善母親的身影。然而台灣是 Grace 的家，也是她靈感和天賦的起點，在

慈善事業上長久以來，Grace 致力於關心弱勢家庭兒童，及青少年關懷等 議題，為這群在學習、藝術發展有興趣的清貧學子，在學習之路上點燈送

暖。今年羅芙奧藝術集團攜手 Grace 首度帶著情書包回到台灣，以慈善義

賣的形式返鄉，其中慈善義賣收益將部份捐贈於財團法人家扶基金會以及 財團法人台大兒童健康基金會，透過 Grace Han 的獨家限量客訂精裝盒 組及經典設計手袋為介質，將善的力量傳遞到需要的孩子們手中。

Luxury fashion brand Grace Han starts up in London, gradually grabs nationwide attention in the UK. UK has been a starting point and a turning point to Grace Han. Taiwan, however, nourishes Chief designer Grace’s inspiration and talent. Taiwan is home. She always keeps her father’s lecture and her mother’s kindness in mind. Grace has long been dedicated in charity. She pays close attention to adolescent and young adult health as well as the children from underprivileged families. Grace paves the way and lights up the path for those youngsters who are keen to gain knowledge or to study art when the lack of financial resources stops them from learning.

This year, Ravenel International Art Group and Grace Han present Love Letter Collection in Taiwan. This homecoming event will be in the form of charity sale and part of the revenue will go to Taiwan Fund for Children and Families and NTU Children's Health Foundation that help children. Grace Han’s exclusive limited edition box sets and collection bags are merely a platform. It is the power of kindness behind the platform helps the children and that’s what really matters.

Ballet Lesson 系列可謂 Grace Han 美學與工藝的巔峰之作，不

僅體現 Grace 身為設計師的個人成長，也象徵所有不遺餘力追 求夢想的人。

其名稱來自於 Grace 某次欣賞芭蕾舞的經驗。芭蕾舞者小小年 紀便須不斷磨練，才能展現該舞蹈完美的身段與優雅；而人們看 到的，只有台上那芭蕾舞的線條之美。這與她的百褶皮革設計不 謀而合，同樣也是歷經多年雕琢，因為背後的艱難琢磨，才能成 就眼前的極簡優雅。

The Ballet Lesson collection represents the pinnacle of Grace Han artistry and craftsmanship, and is a metaphor for Grace’s personal growth as a designer but also for anyone who has ever dedicated themselves completely to building their dreams.

The name came to Grace on a visit to the ballet; reflecting on how the dancers must train tirelessly from such a young age to gain the strength needed to perfect the form and grace required for dance, and yet all people see on – stage is the beauty of the balletic lines. It was the perfect parallel for the pleated leather design that she had determinedly been refining over many years, the elegant simplicity belying the painstaking techniques required to make it.

蝴蝶系列 BUTTERFLY

Butterfly 系列大膽的三條線條，靈感來自蝴蝶羽翼，而蝴蝶也是 蛻變的經典象徵。Grace 為女人不斷進化與改變的生命歷程感到著

迷，每當問起什麼樣的回憶，對她們形塑性格影響最大時，最常提 到的都是重大蛻變時刻，像是第一份工作、初為人母，或是做了一 件勇敢的事。這些都是 Grace 想要以蝴蝶系列盛讚的時刻。

The bold asymmetric trio of graphic lines that mark the Butterfly collection take inspiration from the wings of a butterfly, a perennial symbol of metamorphosis.

Grace is fascinated by the way women constantly evolve and change throughout their lives and found that when she asked women which memory helped shape their character the most, they mostly mentioned huge transformative moments such as their first job, the moment they became a mother or a time they did something brave.

It is these moments that she celebrates with butterfly.

3. 若立授權書人之信用卡無法扣抵下列所述消費之應付款項，則將由羅芙奧藝術集團相關承辦人員另行通知。 4. 使用信用卡自動扣款，其信用卡持有人需與立授權書人為同一人，且其卡片有效期限至少仍在使用期限內。
