WELCOME to the Great Otway Gravel Grind presented by Focus held as part of the Otway Odyssey in the magnificent Otway Ranges.
This event is gaining recognition as one of Australia’s most iconic gravel events and with over 400 riders grinding the gravel this year it’s going to be huge! But the wheels of 400 riders is about all the traffic you’ll encounter because the GOGG rides take you along some beautiful gravel roads, with very few cars and just tall trees and massive tree ferns to keep you in check. As our asphalt roads get busier there really is nothing like turning onto gravel and hearing just the sound of your wheels, the birds and the wind in your ears as you pedal along with a smile from ear to ear. The gravel revolution is happening and you are leading the charge. This event includes so much so sure you take it all in, stop at the coffee stops in the time out zones, snap a photo of the views and keep a steady eye out for koalas overhead – because this ride has everything except traffic and makes for perfect day.
