SPARK POINT®

Developed exclusively by VMC® for ultimate performance hooks. A premium point hardened by forming, followed by chemical sharpening ensures permanent hook sharpness. NEEDLE CONE

CUT POINT

The traditional hook point with excellent penetration capacity. This standard hook point is the most widely manufactured in the world. All VMC® hooks beginning with the number “9” have a standard Cut Point, unless otherwise indicated.

These coloured hooks receive a thin layer of unique varnish that covers the hook without affecting the sharpness of its point. The varnish creates a shield on Hi-Carbon and Vanadium® steel by covering the entire hook surface.When fishing in freshwater, these VMC® coatings will preserve hook sharpness, strength and appearance to the highest possible level.

Tin and Tin Red coatings are highly recommended for all saltwater fishing applications, particularly those involving intense friction such as trolling or when in direct contact with stainless steel.
