His medical career started when he was enrolled in college. He studied Premedical studies at the University of San Agustin and graduated in 1959. After graduating, he pursued a medical degree at the University of Sato Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.

After completing his M.D. degree in 1966, Rano Bofill, M.D., began his internship and Residency in the Philippines, which he completed in 1969. In 1969, he moved to the US, where he started an Externship Training Program at Ohio Valley Hospital.

After completing his training program, Rano Bofill, M.D. became a licensed physician at Mercy Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He then became the staff physician at Bryce Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He also served in Hazard, Kentucky, as the E.R. Physician at Appalachian Regional Hospital and the Clinical Director of Hopemont State Hospital in Hopemont, West Virginia. Rano then transitioned into private practice, and he served as a physician at Fort Asby and Romney in West Virginia. He offered E.R. services to hospitals.

During this period, Rano Bofill, M.D., decided to pursue a specialization in radiology.

He started a Rotating Internship at the Frankfort Hospital in Philadelphia, which was an affiliate of the Medical College of PA in Philadelphia. He then went on to begin his Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Episcopal Hospital. He completed his Residency as the Chief Resident in Philadelphia’s Germantown Hospital & Medical Center.

At West Virginia’s Pleasant Valley Hospital, Rano served as the Associate Radiologist.

He also worked as the Chief Radiologist at Man Appalachian Regional. In addition, he was a Radiologist at various other facilities, such as Williamson Memorial Hospital and Roane General Hospital.

Aside from his medical specialization, Rano also enjoys serving the community and his country through his various civic activities and charitable works. He is a highly dedicated Christian who has always been able to help others in any way he can. Rano Bofill, M.D., has been able to make a significant contribution to the country through his various charitable activities.

Medical Unit in the Armed Forces of the Philippines; he was assigned to five provinces.

He was also the Officer-In-Charge of the Public Health Team of the FADD program for the USAR. Rano Bofill, M.D.’s work in the military also led to him becoming the President of the Filipino American Medical Officers Society. Although his military service is very important to him, he is no longer actively involved in the military anymore. He is currently a retired LTC — with an Honorable Discharge from the USAR. When he’s not working, Rano Bofill, M.D., also enjoys playing the piano and guitar. He has been able to do this for years without requiring a lesson. He is a self-trained musician who can sing and play the piano like a seasoned professional. He has entertained the residents of nursing homes and patients alike for many years by providing a variety of musical performances. Rano Bofill has also recorded his own music. He sells tapes and CDs to raise money for his medical mission trips.

Rano lives in West Virginia and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys giving back to the community by performing in various charitable events.
