In the city where we live, stray cats and dogs cannot live without relying on human beings in the city, so many stray animals cannot guarantee their life safety and even harm the city residents. At the same time, some people cannot adapt to urban life and have no source of income, so they keep wandering. We have designed a system that can make stray cats and dogs have a home and get the care of homeless people; homeless people get work by taking care of cats and dogs and get paid from the residents who come to interact with cats and dogs; and residents improve their mood by playing with cute animals.

As people become more and more dependent on their mobile phones, many people can no longer find the joy of going to the library to read paper books. So how can libraries in the new era give people a reason to come to read? Compared with the traditional library's neat books and seats, the imaginative reading space should be fun and varied. People can change the reading space according to the change of the mood when reading, and leave the book in the space that they think they belong to, and become a new way of book sorting.

There may be many ways to solve the problem of urban stray cats. For example, we make a space for interaction between people and cats in many places where stray cats appear. At the same time, we can detect cats with physical diseases. After discovering these sick cats through scientific and technological means, the staff took the cats to the center for rescue and sterilization. Treated cats can decide whether to stay in a building to earn their medical bills, while for visitors, it is a casual cat cafe.

What can architecture help nature do? A good leisure post station should be a part of the scenery. By the banks of Ulungu Lake, a famous scenic spot in Xinjiang, many tourists come to enjoy the local Yadan landform and bird diversity. However, due to the lack of rainfall, the height and water quality of the lake have decreased year by year, and the species diversity has also decreased. Can there be a space to better show the local scenery to people, but also to protect the local reeds and birds?

Through this project, I consider how the buildings on the banks of Ulungu Lake would fit in form with the nearby Yadan landform, how to protect the local reeds, birds and algae in function, and how to provide better space for bird viewing, mountain viewing and water viewing.

Reproduction Habits

Anti-Parasitic Nesting Behavior —Nest Burying:

During the breeding season, Yellow Warblers face the threat of nest parasitism from birds like cowbirds.

To counter this, the female Yellow Warbler often builds a new layer of nest material over the parasitized nest, burying the parasitic eggs to isolate them and reduce their impact on her offspring.

The effective combination of rods, CNC machining, and 3D printing can make the connection points more stable.

A flexible suspension method can make the connection between the bird’s nest and the bend more secure.

Extending a portion of the rod can provide a perch for birds to rest.

Using an inner groove to secure the rod is a relatively stable method when only the CNC-machined side is suitable for contact with the rod.
