Canadian Government Kills Innovation
Research Science in Canada, according to the current federal government policy, basic and other types of research is entirely funded for applied use or so it seems from what I hear in reading about science and research in Canada and from Federal Conservative government officials on radio and TV. This sounds great if you're a cattle-winger who just became a politician because you can't think past the gate enough and your dumb as nail like the current Ministers of Departments like Fisheries and Oceans and other departments. You see, in order for Innovation to Manufacture then Capitalize, Innovation has it's own steps. One of those steps, perhaps one would call it the "most important" is what's called "Basic Research" - and not just in areas where you see a use today.
