WELCOME TO THE SALE! Sue and I welcome you to our first timed auction event sale for Bachman Cattle Farms, LLC. We like to use the term, “Game-Changer” to describe the offering we are making to you in this sale. We believe God requires us to give Him the best we have to offer and in turn we feel blessed to offer some of the best genetics we have here on the farm.
The “Game-Changer I” sale focused on dispersing our Gelbvieh and Balancer cattle and we then focused 100% on Red Angus Seedstock. We are so pleased with the great maternal capabilities of the Red Angus breed – great mother cows make great bulls and replacement heifers. We are working hard to bring you animals, genetic interest opportunities, embryos and semen from animals that are helping us to achieve our 3P-75.75.35 program. Simply stated, the 3P stands for Phenotype, Power and Profitability. We are committed to a rigorous development program that bring eye-appealing, easy fleshing, deep bodied Red Angus cattle with structural correctness to live in you herd for a long time. That’s the 3P portion of the program. 75.75.35 is our way of setting the goal to have progeny that born and raised here that has 75% of those animals with at least 75% of their EPDs ranking in the top 35% of the breed. This is our commitment to improving the genetic merit through paying attention to EPD performance in connection with new DNA techniques. We pulled this calving ease deluxe bull up to the front of the sale order to give you an opportunity to judge his depth of rib and muscle in combination with a great heifer-bull package. His parentage is simply fantastic with LSF SRR TYSON 3025A as his sire and BIEBER ADELLE 184B as his dam. The Adelle cow family is one the best, straight our of the Bieber program and TYSON had been one of our most consistent performing bulls in our breeding program. Excellent calving ease performance, excellent growth capabilities and an excellent replacement heifer maker.

Sometimes you are fortunate enough to have a bull develop that continues to exceed your expectations. BACH MR MIGHTY MO has been that type of bull - he’s exceeded our expectations every time we measured him and tested his performance. He had that curious and gentle personality as a calf and maintained his gentle disposition even as a two-year old. When we decided he was special to us, we organized a collection at Shnurman Sire Services in Adele, Iowa and as soon as he walked off the trailer and found the collection cow waiting, he mounted and produce 710 extremely high quality units of 40M straws - WOW! We then organized for him to be CSS qualified and again, he collected over 1,600 units of 40M concentration in three collection attempts. We have been grateful to the six other investors in MO and their 45% genetic interest rights.
