It is always a privilege to sit down and put this small letter together to welcome you to our Partners In Progress Sale. Thinking back on the letters I’ve written for this, I am reminded that this is my 20th year of living in Georgia and working for Mr. Charles and 20 years of being married to his beautiful granddaughter! Jenn and I were honored to have judged the Supreme Champion Open Heifer Show at the Cattlemen’s Congress this January. She briefly spoke on how much the word “privilege” seemed to resonate that day. We all have so many privileges that we tend to overlook and certainly take for granted. Family, freedom, friends, health, opportunity, education, etc. And if ever one or more of those is tested, we see how much of a privilege it is to have faith and hope. Thank you Lord that we get to live in the United States of America and to realize how blessed and good we really do have it. It’s a privilege to raise cattle, but it’s only as good as the people you get to do it with. And speaking of that, I want to thank a special person for the years of providing top-notch photos for our sale, and wish him a happy retirement. Don Birk has been a wonderful friend and one of the valued partners in our progress over the years. Don, thank you for being so professional and being my daughter’s hero.
Thank you for taking the time to look through our offering, and if possible, join us in your busy Spring schedule. Our goal constantly remains the same, year to year… sell the kind of cattle that we would like to buy. I’ve said it before, this is a fast-paced industry right now, and genetics are constantly changing, hopefully for the better. Several years ago, I quoted a statement in the catalog from T.S. Eliot that said, “It is impossible to design a system so perfect that no one needs to be good.” We have more information available to us than ever before, but cattle still need to be good, period. You know something, people should be too! Please come join us as we celebrate the start of Spring in Georgia!

• SELLING ONE-HALF INTEREST
• This royally bred female is a daughter of the Pathfinder sire and record-selling Coleman Bravo 6313 back to the $90,000 valued Coleman Donna 4203.
• Coleman Banker 9215, a full brother, was the top-selling bull of the 2021 Your Maternal Source Sale where he sold one-half interest at $75,000 for a $150,000 valuation to Voss Angus of Iowa. Other full sibs include the $20,000 Coleman Donna 9309, the $14,000 Coleman Donna 9308, and the $15,000 Coleman Donna 9307. • Coleman Donna 4203, her dam, is the $90,000 valued Lot 1 female of a past Your Maternal Source sale and full sister to the all-time, record-selling Coleman Donna 8146, who sold for onehalf interest at $375,000 for a $750,000 valuation going to ZWT Ranch of Tennessee. Another full sister to the dam went on to produce the dam of the $300,000 valued GENEX Beef AI Sire, Coleman Below Zero 2106.

• One of the elite genetic packages you’ll find anywhere this spring regarding maternal excellence and phenotype. A maternal sister to these heifers was our high-selling female of 2024, going to Southall Angus for $25,000. This Donna is the highest ranked $M non-parent female of the sale. Combine that with low birth and high CED, this Craftsman heifer is sure to make the donor pen someday.
• The most moderate of the three sisters, this heifer’s structure, balanced profile, and feminine head and neck will always make her a standout, just like her mother.

• Highest growth and highest $C sister here, this one makes the choice all the more difficult as to which is the best. Such an awesome set of figures across the board, and adds a lot of power phenotypically.
• Visually stunning female that puts together probably the most center body and robust rib shape that Donna’s are known for, and Craftsman adds another shot of eye-appeal.

• SELLING CHOICE OF LOTS 1B-1D.
• This sister is probably to combination female of her two sisters. She’s the second highest of the three for both $M and $C and still combines the same quality growth and foot scores seen in this cow family.
• This is the longest bodied of the 3 heifers and still has enough substance at the ground while remaining smooth shouldered and long necked. These three Craftsman heifers are just enough alike and just different that even the smartest of cowmen might find it difficult to choose the best.

Bringing together the power and growth of Incentive and Outside, in combination with the maternal goodness and smooth shoulder of Donna.

• The first couple of calf crops by Deep Roots were all so good as babies, that many of them went into our production sales the last few years. So, this is our first good year at seeing his daughters in production, and we are blown away with our first two-year olds and the job they are doing raising calves. I don’t like to sell many first calf heifers, so this is your only shot.
• The Deep Roots daughters are going to be moderate and have beautiful, tight udders. A60 is actually one of the bigger framed daughters that we got, largely due to her Acclaim lineage.
• The ticket to this young cow, I believe, is the Commerce heifer calf on her side. She could be big-time good, as we have successfully mated several Deep Roots females to him.

• Rarely do we present an opportunity such as this in our Partners In Progress Female Sale, but we thought this bull was special enough to go outside of the box. And that’s probably a great way to describe this two-year-old stud. So many of his traits fit well within the box of today’s acceptability of genetic and EPD values, but when you study this bull visually, he takes quality to a greater level.
• Ask Jennifer what she thinks of Deep Trust. She’ll tell you his name is Kevin and looks like a frat boy. I’m not sure if there’s anything to that I should be worried about, but she just describes him as being one of the coolest looking dudes we’ve ever raised, and Kevin is just a typical cool dude name, I suppose.
• Deep bodied, great legged, up headed and arrogant in his stride. Combining Deep Roots and Stormy was no accident. Dry Creek Farms has acquired an unbelievable full sister this year, and we’ve already flushed another full sister. Full brothers are working for Bar A Ranch in Georgia and Schwenk Cattle of Indiana. Look at the maternal sisters selling over the next couple of lots. This deal is for real. Owned with Farmington Angus.

• Stormy came to us through a past Tennessee River Music sale with our partner, Farmington Angus in Tennessee. Dr. Bills has let me experiment with her and do some neat things. We flushed her soon after Sitz Eternity hit the market, and hoped for something cool. Just like Deep Trust, this pair of heifers is just that…cool to the max.

Breeding cattle can sometimes feel like a shot in the dark, but I have never been more optimistic and confident in a flush in my life. Commerce has made some unbelievable females for us here. Lot 5 is a sale highlight.
• C18 does a lot of things right. She’s feminine and good structured with high CED and a great set of values.
• C25 is big time and is one of my favorites of the entire offering! Breeding for balanced traits is so important here. They have to look good first, and then we hope numbers will support their appearance. This heifer sets a very high bar for quality and genetic values. Study her WW, YW, MARB, & $C. • This is a valuable opportunity to tap into some elite genetics, as we are selling the pick of the flush, sired by one of the industry’s elite sire prospects, Coleman Maternal Balance. Selling onehalf interest for $260,000 to Southall Angus and Ingram Angus. A direct son of the great Chloe 9275, his density and power and genetic backing is unmatched. Don’t miss this!

• Sometimes I make a quick decision to sell something valuable that should stay here for a little longer. I may regret putting C32 in the sale at such a young age. This is U68’s natural calf. Just a September baby, I think Eternity matched really well with my favorite cow. When you look at the maternal sisters in this sale offering, look at the factory, and understand the book that Eternity is starting to write, I will be anxious to see who finds this calf sale day.
• I was picking out my final list of sale cattle when Z26 started to udder up again. I have flushed one full sister here, and questioned if I had flushed the wrong one. This Regiment daughter exemplifies what udder quality and femininity should look like. We throw the term “good udder” around a lot in this industry, and we need more cows like this to remind folks what that standard is. This was a powerful flush of females Z26 came out of. Needing a future herd prospect? Take note of this little baby.

My goal was to do a lot more combinations like this, blending 2037 and 4061 together, prior to 2037 being struck by lightning. Big league brood cow potential. This cow should be flushed.

• This young brood cow descends from one of the first cows I remember working with when I moved to Georgia, Petunia C34 out of High Prime. She would still be right for the times today, 20 years later. Moderate, stout and loads of capacity. • Moderate in stature, the right kind built for pasture, and will do a great job with a calf.
• Bill Gray encouraged me to think outside the box when he said we should incorporate Peak Draft Pick in a few cows. He was right on this one. We didn’t know much about him at the time, other than his big numbers and he stemmed from a great cow from Vintage Angus. That cow just went on to produce another top prospect at Poss Angus for $180,000.

A bigribbed, easy keeping daughter of the cow maker Growth Fund, we like the udder type and profile of this young brood cow. A high-growth female, make sure you take the time to look up this Commerce heifer she’s produced. • It’s always exciting each year to come up with the right animal to fill the Lot 1 position. Although typically it’s something that Mr. Charles doesn’t like to part with. This year is no exception. When Bloom Y120 calved again, I knew she was THE ONE this year. Red or black, this is probably the best udder on the farm. Her top 2%MM and 10% Udder on paper is verified physically.
• Stonegate Farm purchased the granddam of Y120, Bloom H100, in a past sale and she could do no wrong. Everything you mated her to would produce the most maternal females with unbelievable udders. The dam of Y120, S10, was purchased by Walker Hereford Farm, Dirt Road Farms, and Jernigan Hereford and this female is a product of Genesis embryos that we purchased the following year.

• TERMS ANNOUNCED SALE DAY
• As I mentioned in the Angus section, we rarely part with something as special as Lot 103, as we typically just sell females. But this year I thought it would be pretty cool to sell part of a proven Hereford herd bull. After I saw the first few calves from Definitive Z73, I knew this was the one. This guy was part of a highly successful flush out of a 2-year-old from Walker and Jernigan, Belle 9247. We rarely flush first calf heifers, but we knew she was the right kind. Only bad part is that I had a friend, Blake Willis, starting in the Hereford business, and I felt she could get him started on the right track…that was before the ET calves were even born. That flush produced two show heifers for Diana Kate, and another herdsire for Green Meadow Farm in Indiana. Maybe I should’ve kept her.

• This bull is big statured, long bodied, good-footed and striking to look at. Not to mention he’s a top 2% CHB, 4% MARB, and 8 & 9% respectively for WW & YW. These kind aren’t made everyday, so if you’re in the need for an upgrade, Definitive is worth the look.

• SELLING A FLUSH TO THE BULL OF THE BUYER’S CHOICE.
• Diana Kate is the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet, but she’s a bit hard headed. The only way you’ll ever get a piece of A13 (who we call “Cinnamon”) is sale day. Selling the right to flush A13 to the bull of the buyer’s choice. Cinnamon was our Senior Yearling show heifer last summer and had a remarkable run. She was a Class Winner at the 2024 Southeast Hereford Regional, Reserve Grand Champion at the 2025 Georgia Field Day, and 3rd at the Junior National Hereford Expo. She caught the attention of judges last summer for her impeccable udder development and elite EPD spread.
• Top 4% MARB and 6% CHB, this young 2 year old is destined for great things as Diana Kate starts her Hereford herd. A full sister to Lot 103, Definitive, these cattle are built right for the times. Classy enough to show, genetically enhanced enough to progress a program.
• Buyer is responsible for flush costs and semen. CED
• Flush guarantee of 6-8 conventional embryos to be performed within 60 days after the sale, as we are possibly showing her with her bull calf this summer. Anything over 8 embryos will be split with Diana Kate Gillooly.

This past January, the leadership of Influence Livestock Ministries started preparations to take this mission to as many Junior National breed shows and livestock events as possible this summer. Establishing opportunities for Bible Study groups for youth and young adults, handing out free bibles for those that may not have one, and providing Influence merchandise are just a few examples of this outreach program. • As difficult of a female to part with maybe as Lot 101 is. This is the only heifer out of this SHF Liberty x Jewels mating. Not sure who the cowboy or cowgirl is that will lock in and find this one, but she’s special. I was prepared to buy one of two animals at Sandhill Farms in 2024, until I found out I wasn’t. The second high selling bull that day was SHF Liberty H028 L356, and his mother, Lacy G313, was the top selling female. She came to Georgia, but to Tony Lasseter instead. Next best thing I could afford was to get semen, and breed some good ones to him.
• S14 is continuing to write a wonderful story here for Predestined Cattle. Julia E195 will go down as one of the all-time great donors, but S14 may be my favorite Julia of all time. • I had to work pretty hard to decide which one of three sisters would make this cut for Partners In Progress. MKS Cattle and Parker Brothers of Tennessee purchased the first pick of these females in August for $7500 and they weren’t even born yet. That leaves one for you and one for Diana Kate. We’re keeping the Heterozygous Polled heifer for her, and you’re getting the Homo Polled sister, that is the darkest red of all 3 and big ribbed. This heifer keeps coming on and I think you’re gonna like her sale day. Has the potential to be on the radar for juniors interested in a show prospect.
• Liberty 159H has worked really well here, and I truly feel this trio of ET heifers might be the best set of flush sisters ever born here. Julia daughters and granddaughters have headlined Partners In Progress Sales for years, and Lot 106 could have easily done the same this year.

• Perhaps one of my most favorite photographs of a Hereford that we have ever taken is Lot 107. She is also one of the most awesome genetically engineered heifers as well. What a cool combination of Churchill Equity, Arsenal and Julia. The dam of B81, was a member of a flush from a cow owned with K-One Cattle in Louisiana. We sold half interest in a full brother to Sam Henderson in our last sale and he’s done an awesome job at incorporating calving ease and pigment into his calves. The full sister was a sale feature going to 4B Herefords in North Carolina. We sold a lot of Arsenal genetics in our previous sale, so we’re holding a little tighter to him this year. Just one of a few chances to acquire some of these genetics.
• A high CED female that is so well-balanced visually and on paper. I think truly one of most unique breeding pieces that we have offered in recent years. This one is special folks!

• One of the rare opportunities to tap into some of the first born genetics of Armory Y146. This female is double-bred Endure, combining Arsenal with that of Miss Endure, and Upstream-bred female we purchased from our friends at Dry Creek Farms.
• Long-bodied and smooth patterned, we think the potential of the Armory daughters will be big-time, considering the paternal granddam.

• Coming from our friends at Sandbriar Farm, Beau Knight has put something pretty special in the sale this year. She stems from our Pennie family from when we flushed the great Shiny Pennie 144U from Max and Karen Stotz. This ET bred heifer by Steadfast is pretty powerful.
• This could become a big time female down the road when you consider the blending of Home Make 202C and 144U in the same pedigree. Broody and potential udder quality to the max.
• A maternal sister was the popular Grand Champion cow – calf pair at the 2024 Southeastern Regional.

BIRTH
• Super stylish female that almost became a show prospect for Diana Kate last year. Upheaded, long necked, and great in her lines, this heifer stems from the great Sunny K187 donor that lived to be almost 15 years. She’s always showing off and Jennifer loves her one white front leg.
• This could be a real neat heifer to mate and might produce some show cattle during her productive life.

• When we sold our great Dixie N78 donor several years ago to Green Meadow Farm, Artillery was on her side. What a bull he turned into. The descendants of Cannon were easy-keeping, fleshy cattle and with the addition of N78, even more cowy.
• This heifer isn’t big numbered, but considering the blending of Reigns N155 into this pedigree, expect longevity and efficiency to be this heifer’s source of income. The lowmaintenance kind!
• Very good producing daughter of Cuda that traces back to the quality Reigns lineage we started from one of my all-time favorite females in this herd when I moved to Georgia, A349. She combined 46B and 103T, two studs from back in the day. Just coming into the prime of her life, what she will be able to produce will pay for her several times over. Look at her yearling heifer!!
• The dam of Y28 was an awesome daughter of Whit 33B that sold to Walker, Jernigan and Dirt Road in our previous sale. The females know how to raise one. Awesome little bull prospect of the side, and an elite daughter selling as lot 114B! A really cool set of figures that go along with him.

• Without a doubt one of the elite phenotype cows of the entire offering. We didn’t get her up for picture day, and that was my biggest regret of the entire catalog. Visually stunning, and near perfect udder under this Fortified daughter. So much resemblance to her dam, N6, who still holds the prize for best cow picture award.
• Feminine, straight-lined, and tremendous hip and hind leg. Much of the reason I bred her to Liberty last year. This bull calf has some great days ahead of him. He got a little behind in January as he got a little sick on us, but is turning the corner again. Don’t discount either one of them. This cow is good enough for donor synchronization.

• A granddaughter of the Julia N6, this Arsenal daughter is pretty special. She’s outproducing herself this year with one of the elite heifer calves of the whole offering. I haven’t decided on how competitive of a show heifer she could be, but I’m certain she’s got a whale of a future. Sired by Final Chance, we have had great success with his first calves…they come easy, are well built and nicely pigmented. Don’t miss this baby.
• A neat blending of balanced traits and genetic giants like Arsenal, Final Print, and Standout. Incorporates high calving ease with plenty of growth genetics.
