Transfer Information
Membership in AQHA must be current in order to transfer a horse into your name.
Memberships are paid annually. If you need an AQHA membership, please call AQHA so that your transfer will not be held up for membership.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Terms: are cash, to be paid in US currency and/or on US banks the day of the sale. Cash, Cashiers Check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express or approved Bank checks, will be accepted. Please note that a 2.5% charge will be added for any credit card transaction. No horse will leave the grounds without a bill of sale.
Bidding: Positive ID is required to receive a buyer’s number. Each bidder must have a buyer’s number to bid. The highest bidder is the buyer. If any dispute arises between two or more bidders, sole authority to settle the dispute is reserved by the auctioneer. His decision shall be final. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Risk: Title to and risk or loss passes to the buyer when the animal is declared “SOLD” by the auctioneer. Buyers assume responsibility for maintenance and care from then on. All horses should be removed from the site the same day of sale, October 14, 2023, unless other arrangements have been made with A Bar Ranch.
Registration Papers: All registration papers will be withheld until all checks clear the banks. At such time, they will be mailed to AQHA for transfer. The transfer fee of $25 to AQHA will be the responsibility of the buyer and will be added to the purchase price. A purchase invoice will be filled out on each horse EXACTLY how the purchaser wants a horse registered . We will not be responsible for errors on transfers if purchase invoice is not properly and clearly filled out.
