This year marks our 11th production sale, and we welcome you to join us Feb. 25th at 1:30 pm at the farm. Another year has come and we have a really nice selection of twoyear-old bulls to offer you. We have a couple new Sire groups to offer you this year as well, Montana Example and Baldridge Elroy. These two sires bring lots of carcass traits to their offspring. With both sires having good IMF and RE, they will make fat cattle that will grade well. Montana Example offers more calving ease of the two, and Baldridge Elroy will offer little more frame and structure to his offspring.

The bulls have had all their vaccinations as calves until now. They have been on a Zoetis vaccination program as calves and weaning time. They will have their Foot Rot, Anthrax, and another 7 way at semen testing time. Bulls have been Genomic Tested. Fall of 2021 they were injected with Dectomax and given Cattlemaster 4 VL5.

If you have any questions regarding the bulls in the sale offer, please feel free to contact us and we will assist you in any way we can. Bulls can be viewed anytime before the sale, we just ask that you give us a call to make sure someone will be around and we will have the bulls gathered up from their pasture to be viewed. Bulls will be on DVAuction again and can be viewed on there prior to sale day.

Bull Wintering Program

All bulls selling for $3,000 or more are guaranteed against breeding injury for the first breeding season. Breeding season is defined as the 90 day period following the first turnout of the bulls.

Peckenpaugh Angus will offer FREE bull wintering until April 1, 2022. If a buyer wishes to take insurance on their bulls while they stay, it will be available on sale day. Delivery will start around April 1. Please leave the best contact number to reach you for delivery.

If you choose to take your bull home sale day, you will receive $50 credit per bull sale day.

If a replacement bull is available, he will be provided. Or, if the buyer prefers, credit towards one bull will be given in the following year’s sale. Please notify us as soon as possible should injury occur, so we can get you taken care of! Thank you!
