We would like to invite you to our 9th Annual Bull Sale held at our ranch just west of Radville, SK. It sure doesn’t seem like that long since we first started but like the saying goes “Time flies while you’re having fun.”

Thank you to our customers and friends for supporting our program over the years. It has given us the opportunity to do what we love doing.

We all have gone through a crazy past year. There certainly has been some disappointments along the way. One thing for me I have missed is the social engagements that gives us the chance to visit with some friends that we may only see once or twice a year. However, we have had an increase in visitors to the ranch throughout the year and I really do enjoy the time spent on the tours. I enjoy showing what we are about and the herd we have built. I also enjoy learning about and getting to know you and your operation. Thank you to all who have come. I do think this year has taught us we are blessed to live and work in the Agriculture industry. We are lucky to be able to do the same things we do on a typical day. I don’t think there is any better and safer place to raise a family.

We do try our best to continually improve on the year before. We are constantly working on improving the quality of our cowherd and sire selection which in turn improves the quality of bulls we have on offer. I think if you take a tour through the bulls it shows that we are always setting a new standard for our offering. We want to have quality in volume to ensure we can provide you with a high-quality Brooking Bull for an affordable price.

Last year we did have many of our customers come ahead of the sale to tour the bulls at their leisure. Most of the times we will personally tour you through the bulls and be there to answer any questions. Many enjoyed this as it gave them time to study the bulls with no time pressure like on a sale day. It is best to call or text ahead to ensure we can arrange our time to be able to show you through the bulls. If you have any questions about the offering, please feel free to contact us. Our family is doing well. Kordell is 8 and was able to show a heifer at his first show at the Lloydmister Stockade Roundup this past November.

It sure was a proud moment seeing the great job he did. Kiefer is 4 and is a true farm boy. He loves doing chores and any kind of machinery. Aleida is 2 and absolutely loves animals. She is full of spunk!

SAV Renovation 6822 sons lead the pack again this year as the largest sire group on offer. Reno has thrown muscle, shape and sheer power into his sons and their performance is nearly unmatched. His daughters in production are becoming absolute staples everywhere that’s used him as they are ideal in their udder structure and phenotype. His young 2 and 3 year old daughters in production look like 5 year old cows, for the right reasons! The Bank Note progeny as well as the Firebrand and the new Gold Coin offspring on offer are all what we have come to expect in the Bank Note progeny. They are easy fleshing, superior footed cattle that strive in every setting they are placed into. Cattle that can convert feed and get the job done in different aspects of the industry. BROOKING PRIME COMMODITY 7019 Brooking Prime Commodity 7019 was a top selling bull in our 2018 Sale at $40,000 to Schwan Angus Ranch.

He was admired for his phenotype, clean and smooth front end and character. He had ample amount of muscle and performance for a calving ease sire. His dam is a fertile and well-made daughter of the premier sire Soo Line Motive 9016.

Our bulls are fed a high-roughage TMR ration from weaning in a large contemporary group on 38 acres until Christmas, managed for development and longevity at the highest priorities.
