Welcome to the sale.

Welcome to our 12th Annual Spring of Opportunities Sale. This is our first live auction sale at our Canadian River ranch north of Stigler. In the past our annual sales were held private treaty and online. Over the last six months, we made some needed upgrades at the ranch to enable us to hold a live auction for our customers.

We are excited to be able to bring everyone together at the ranch at the same time!

The sale this year features one of our elite Takeda bred Fullblood donor cows, our very best bred and open Fullblood heifers, virgin Fullblood bulls, very unique embryo pregnancies, a few F1 heifers, semen, and embryos. When we put the sale group together, we tried to select lots that will work for everyone. There are some great buying opportunities in this auction.

We have been fortunate to sell 100% Fullblood Japanese Black Wagyu cattle, genetics, and beef over the last 12 years.

We honestly believe the cattle have gotten better every year, and we have made tremendous genetic improvement as demonstrated through our beef program. We have no doubt that this is the best offering to date.

This year was a huge challenge to get the younger cattle weaned and fitted. The winter has been so wet and mud everywhere. We really appreciate all the people who have helped us get everything ready for the sale. Anyone who has had a live auction knows how difficult it is. We really appreciate everyone who has helped us.

TERMS:

The terms of the sale are cash or bankable check, unless arrangements are made with Triangle B Ranch prior to the sale. Satisfactory settlement must be made with Triangle B Ranch clerks immediately after the close of the sale. Only when the above conditions are met will the buyer be able to load cattle. In no case will animals or frozen genetics be released unless satisfactory settlement is made with Triangle B Ranch. Each animal will be at the purchasers risk immediately after it is sold. Cattle will be sold to the highest bidder. The auctioneer shall settle all disputes as to bids.

HEALTH:

The health of the cattle selling is excellent. Each animal will be accompanied by an individual health certificate for immediate interstate shipment. All bulls have passed a breeding soundness exam and have been tested for trichomoniasis. Cattle sold as bred have been palpated for pregnancy or have had a positive blood test for pregnancy. Cattle selling as open are guaranteed to be open.

Her sire, TF147 Itoshigefuji is perhaps the largest Fullblood Wagyu bull weighing in excess of 2,400 pounds. TF147 is the result of Modoshikouhai (back crossing) with Itofuji, from the Fujimori line. This line is the product of the original Okayama bull Dai 13 Hanayama through the Takenotanitsuru cow family tracing back 300 years. Combining the Fujimori (supersized) and Itomichi line (good marbling) produced this bull with large frame size and good marbling. TF147 is well known by some in the industry for producing the very best Fullblood Wagyu females.

1056X’s dam is CF505 an own daughter of TF148 Itoshigenami, over an Itomichi FB500 sired daughter from the Hikokura dam line: Hikokura 1/10. This cow of the Haraharashu line is the granddaughter of Ezokintou, the grand champion of the third Zenkyo competition. TF148 has the highest percentage of Kumanami line genetics outside of Japan having a double cross of Shigekanenami on his sire side plus another line through his maternal grandsire. By breeding TF148 to Hikokura 1/10, we see further inclusion of the Kumanami strain present by Fukukanenami, a son of Shigekanenami, through Dai 3 Kiyohime in the pedigree of the Hikokura cow family.

TBR Hikofujinami 1056X is the optimal combination of Okayama power, structure, and maternal with the potent and predictable marbling ability of the Kumanami strain. There are only a few of these females carrying these very sought-after genetics alive in the US today. She sells with a bull calf at her side, open, and ready to flush!

Triangle B Ranch is retaining one successful flush on 1056X that will take place at the buyers convenience and Triangle B Ranch’s expense. A successful flush will consist of Triangle B Ranch receiving a minimum of six (6) transferable embryos.

6702F is a beautiful female and a backcross of Itoshigefuji from the Fujimori line. Cattle from these genetics are larger frame, early maturing, and produce great milk for their calves. The maternal grand dam, TBR Hikofuku 4 9064W, is the largest female at Triangle B and has produced many females and bulls for us over the years. The perfect mating for 6702F is to mate her to TBR Kikutnami 4051A, so that is what we did. We have had great success in our beef program with steers that have both Shigeshigenami and Tanifuku-Doi lines in the pedigree. Recessive Free.

Kimifuku 3 is a combination of Itsuhime, Kikutsuru, and Mitsufuku dams which Mr. Takeda knew would make the best Tajima Naka-Doi genetics. The sire of this mating is World K’s Michifuku which for many years was in the top 3 best marbling bulls in both the US and Australia. Michifuku is a proven, well known sire and requires no further introduction. 1076X had a really bad calving experience with a breech calf 7 years ago and has not rebred or produced any genetics. We kept her around because she is a great cow and has produced some awesome cattle for us. You hear the time heals all wounds, well, we decided to get her up and flush her in January and to our surprise she produced 11 embryos that we transferred fresh to our Angus recipients. TF Terutani is a bull Mr. Shogo Takeda bred specifically to cross on Dia 7 Itozakura genetics which have been proven over the years to produce very high end beef. Terutani himself carries the extreme marbling genetics of the Mitsufuku dam line in his pedigree with Kikuteru Doi as his sire. 9064W is largest frame cow at 1,430 lbs and only one of only a few offspring we were able to get out of our Kimifuku 3 sired TF 713 cow which is no longer alive. TF 713’s dam line is the Hikokura. This was for sure a very elite female in the Wagyu breed; however, we have been able to retain her genetic line through offspring we have from past embryo transfer. This is the perfect result of Takeda Farms Rotational Breeding which makes great females and is 100% Takeda genetics! Offspring may be F11 carrier.
