Phone bids will also be taken during the sale. Registration certificates will be transferred to the buyer on all eligible animals.

HEALTH & FERTILITY: All bulls over one year of age have passed a fertility exam and results will be available sale day upon request. Health certificates will be issued to out-of-state buyers. All bulls will be vaccinated for IBR, BVD types 1 and 2, BRSV, PI3 and Pasturella. In addition, they will have an injectable wormer given and an 8-way vaccination.

ADDITIONAL PERFORMANCE: Scrotal measurement and additional performance data will be available on sale day.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: All cattle sell under the Terms and Conditions as suggested by the American Angus Association. All settlements are to be made with the clerk immediately following the conclusion of the sale. Terms of the sale shall be cash or bankable checks unless prior arrangements have been made. All supplements to the sale book or announcements made from the block take precedence over what is written in the sale book.

VIEWING SALE CATTLE: Bulls will be available for viewing Monday, March 2 by Noon.

FEED & DELIVERY: If special arrangements need to be made, please

Deliveries to central points within 200 miles will be provided. Any additional miles, the buyer will pay for at actual cost. The buyer assumes all risk upon purchase.

Fellow Cattlemen: As 2020 comes into focus, the returns are as optimal as we have seen in some time. This promising look in 2020 puts you in the driver’s seat to make progress in your programs. It is no secret that acquiring a quality bull will do more to improve your calf crop than anything else you can do. We are excited to offer you our latest bull crop. This set of bulls will impress you with their consistency in design, expression of muscle, performance and predictability. We work hard to produce bulls that are phenotypically desirable, are big-footed and move well. We produce bulls that will add pounds to your calf crop and residual value to your bottom line. All bulls in this offering will produce calves that will not only perform for you, but will go on to be efficient in a feedyard and hang the type of carcass that it takes to meet maximum value on any grid. If you take the time to study the performance data, you will see these bulls meet a very high standard for growth, maternal and carcass merit. Being in the cattle feeding business, we see great returns in cattle that excel on the rail, and we look heavily at those carcass traits.

I have said this year after year, but it is important for me to emphasize Beus Cattle is very much a family venture. It is very pleasing for us to continue the cattle rearing process as our third generation begins feeding and showing cattle. We have been building our herd of registered seedstock for over 29 years now and have been in the cattle feeding business for 40 years. It has come with its share of lessons learned, but the simple fact is we are here to stay, and we will be here to back our product.
