The Offering:

17 - Weaned Heifer Calves 9 - Proven Bred Cows - Many Donor Quality 8 - Weaned Herd Sire Prospects 1 - Proven Herd Sire Terms: Cattle sell under standard terms of American Angus Association. Full payment must be received prior to shipping.

Risk: Cattle become the risk of buyer as soon as sold Delivery: Cattle are available for shipping October 3rd. Buyers are responsible for shipping. Oliver Angus and Brubaker Sales will assist to acquire shipping.

Procedure: The bidding process will begin on September 28th and carry through to October 2nd. Buyers can call, text or email a bid on one or more lots, starting at the minimum price. Early bids will close on October 2nd at 6 PM ET. At 7PM ET a bid-off will take place via tele-conference.

Buyers will enter into a tele-conference line. Early bids will start for a given lot and other buyers will have the opportunity to increase the bid until sold. The tele-conference information will be given when buyer pre-bids or is registered for the sale.

Buyers may bid on multiple lots, however if a bid is given on any lot and there is no higher bid, the buyer must take that lot.

Buyer Registration: To register to be on the conference tele-auction call Brubaker Sales at 540/908-5799. Buyers will be given the conference call phone number and PIN number to access the auction. Please be sure to call no later than one (1) hour – 6pm ET – prior to the auction.

Registration Certificates: Registration Certificates will be provided to buyers at the seller’s expense at the time of delivery.

Friends, Welcome to our 2018 production sale. The summer showers were plentiful here in west central Georgia this year, so the cattle are in good condition heading into fall. The calf crop has certainly reaped the benefits of having healthy mothers, as we weaned a very uniform group of calves this year.

We are excited about this offering. There are many good open heifers along with some production age cows that have made a huge impact in our herd. The herd bull along with the prospects are some of the best we have produced in recent years. Some of these genetics may never be offered again..

The impact of a great cow, “41” is evident throughout the sale offering so read and study the pedigrees carefully – it will tell you all you need to know about the program To see the value of these cattle it is imperative to look through the videos. Here you will see the phenotype and kind of cattle they are producing. These videos were taken the last week of August’ Special features this year is the Lot 1, a Proven Feature Herd Sire, “468”. His progeny are keepers ! This is the first and perhaps the last “41” son to sell at auction. Another feature are the proven cows being offered. They are hard to part with, but need room for the next generation. Many of these cows are Donor quality.

The Herd Sire and open heifers the the best ever offered. They are backed-up by great cows and cattle you can build a program with.
