TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. BIDDING The Auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final.

2. TERMS Terms of sale are cash unless satisfactory credit arrangements have been made with Sale Management prior to sale.

3. PURCHASER’S RISK Each animal becomes the risk of the Buyer as soon as sold, but it shall be the obligation of the Seller to see that animals are fed and cared for free of charge to Buyer, until loaded for shipment or until the expiration of 48 hours after the sale, whichever occurs sooner.

4. HEALTH All animals are eligible for interstate shipment, except as otherwise announced. Interstate health papers will be furnished for each animal in accordance with prevailing State/Federal Regulations.

5. ANNOUNCEMENTS Announcements from the auction block shall take precedence over the sale catalog and/or any additional printed information regarding animal(s) sold.

6. BREEDING GUARANTEE All animals are guaranteed by the seller as outlined in the Red Angus Association of America Code of Ethical Sale Practices.

7. LIABILITIES All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. The seller, the sale manager, and the auction facility assume no liability for accidents that may occur. It is to be clearly understood that the sale manager and their representatives act only as a medium between the buyer and seller.

8. DEFAULT In the event the Buyer defaults on payment, the Buyer shall be responsible for all costs, including attorney’s costs, incurred by Sale Management or Seller in connection with collecting, or attempting to collect, payment due.

9. CONTRACT These terms and conditions of sale constitute a contract between the Buyer and Seller of each animal. Any subsequent sale or resale of an animal constitutes a separate transaction.

I

t is with great excitement that all of us at Niobrara Red Angus welcome you to our First Annual Bull Sale. The group of future herd sires before you represent our efforts towards building the most elite genetic base of Red Angus seedstock anywhere. These genetics have proven to be in large demand, and we are excited to have the opportunity to offer them right here in Niobrara.

It is our goal to produce bulls that make our customers more profitable. These bulls have to perform, stay problem-free, and cover cows vigorously in order to earn their keep. We recognize that one of the largest issues among Red Angus cattle in the United States is feet and structure: the basis of which cattle have to travel to forage and produce a calf. We feel confident in the fact that we are selecting for good-footed, sound-structured individuals that will have longevity for years to come. The majority of our herd thus far is Canadian based, and we’re proud of that. We have developed a cow herd that is as sound, good footed and functional as any Red Angus cow herd in the United States. EPD’s can be “bred into” an individual in one generation, but structure and feet cannot. Our bulls are GUARANTEED to offer equally as much calving ease, performance, carcass, and mothering ability as other “Top EPD” herds in the country; let us prove that to you.

We will be producing cattle based on actual data and measurable traits, gathering information and keeping records based on an animal’s individual ability. Not on algorithms and numbers that have no correlation to the actual animal itself. We will be making the actual information on our entire calf crop available to our customers in order for them to make accurate decisions based on real values.

When we see an individual animal prove an EPD valid, our customers will be the first to know.

This group of bulls represents some of the best, most proven seedstock genetics from across North America. These individuals have had full siblings

& CUSTOMERS TOP sales in some of the most recognized Red Angus programs across the United States and Canada, and we are humbled to be able to offer them here, to you. Study their pedigrees, research their history, and assess the bulls in person. We know there are cattle here that will do great things across a variety of environments, and most importantly, improve the structural base of the American Red Angus cow herd.

We have always emphasized foot and leg structure as well as udder quality in our cattle. Our purebred cattle run right alongside of our commercial cattle to ensure a real-world environment for everyone. We do not creep feed our calves and expect them to gain consistently from birth to yearling. These bulls are all backed by great cows as I think the Red Angus female will keep ranchers in business and the rest will take care of itself. Thank you for the interest in our program.
