Marshall and Fenner & Murphy Cattle Company Angus Sale Dear Friends and Fellow Cattlemen, The Marshall & Fenner families would like to invite you to our 7th Annual Bull and Female Production Sale on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 6 p.m. The sale will be held at the Mid-MO Livestock Center in Marshall Junction, MO. Joining us again this year are our friends from Murphy Cattle Company.

This year’s offering has endured the dramatic weather changes from our ever changing MO weather. 2015 was a year to remember with a wet spring leading into a hot and very dry summer, then ending the year in knee deep mud this winter. So far in 2016 we have enjoyed the mild 70 degree days during the spring calving season.

This year’s bull offering features some of the breed leading performance sires including; SAV Resource, SAV Priority, Plattemere Weigh Up, and our very own MF Net Return, just to name a few. Once again we are offering a powerful set of Sim-Angus bulls that will add muscle and pounds to your calf crop.

Our female offering may be shorter in overall numbers than in years past but we didn’t short the quality. Returning again this year are the Elbas, Donnas, Emblynettes, Evergreens, Blackcaps and the Forever Ladys. The fall bred heifers and the spring yearling heifers are a very nice group of young replacements with the look and the performance we all strive for.

Once again, we extend a sincere thank you for your loyalty to our program and will be glad to assist you with all of your cattle needs. It is a pleasure to be working with the Marshall and Fenner families and the Murphy family once again this year on their 7th Annual Performance-Tested Bull and Female Sale. Each year this event showcases some of the top genetics in the region with a powerful set of bulls selling and a productive set of females.

This event will have sires represented that will transmit added power and performance which is evident when you go down through the pedigrees and study the EPD profiles. Regardless if you are a purebred breeder or a commercial cattleman looking to add pounds of red meat to your program. You will find something to fit the bill in this year’s offering. Simply said, this is the most uniform set of bulls they have ever offered.

Female buyers will note that there is not as many females selling this year as there have been in the past, however the quality runs extremely deep. Special highlights will be the opportunity to select three direct daughters of the Pathfinder Dam SAV Elba 4436. There will also be an impressive set of fall bred heifers along with a select group of fall pairs and spring cowcalf pairs. Many of the pedigrees including in the female offering are like the pedigrees represented in the powerhouse bulls that are also selling.
