Dear Friends, I would first like to thank you for interest in Cyclone Trace Cattle Company and the CYT program. This is the third spring edition of Shorthorns UpFront and we are certainly excited about the offering.

This spring annual event would not be possible without the inputs from a multitude of people.

The most significant is the support received from new, current and potential customers. The CYT crew wants you to know that your support is really appreciated and pledge to do what it takes to sustain the relationship.

We have enjoyed a few early warm days in Iowa this year and are excited to announce the sale offering will be only showcased in Clarion, Iowa this year. While we will not be in Oklahoma, you can still contact Jeff Bedwell or any of the CYT Crew with questions. The sale will be held solely online with Showstock.com. Breeding Guarantee: All cattle sell under the Suggested Breeding Guarantee recommended by the American Shorthorn Association (ASA) Tibial Hemimelia/ASA Genetic Defect Disclaimer: Unless an animal is listed on the ASA “genetic defect status list”. The ASA makes no representation of any kind as to whether or not the animal has a genetic defect.

TH/PHA/DS Status: All cattle are TH/PHA/DS Free unless otherwise noted in the catalog or on update sheet.

Registration And Transfer: All animals sell with completed pedigrees or applications for registration.

Announcements: Made online sale day will take precedence over the material in this catalog.

Flushes & DNA: Cyclone Trace Cattle Co. reserves one flush of eight or more grade 1 or 2 embryos at our expense on all females selling. We also retain, at our expense, the opportunity to obtain a DNA cell line for cloning purposes on all cattle selling in this sale.

Liability: Each animal will be at the buyer’s risk as soon as sold, but will be cared for by the sellers for a reasonable amount of time. Neither the owners, employees, sale consultant, sale manager, or other affiliated personnel can be responsible for any accidents, but they will make every effort to provide for the safe and comfort of those attending.

Transportation: We will make every effort to coordinate trucking to minimize expense for buyers.
