On behalf of my family and our genetic partners, we’d like to personally invite you to attend our 16th Annual Bull and Heifer Sale. We have a great amount of excitement surrounding this sale offering. Excitement that stems from seeing the results of our genetic progress as well as the results of our time and labor invested into these bulls and heifers. But the greatest source of our excitement comes from the opportunity we have to share these bulls and heifers with you and your operations.

In our agricultural way of life, faith and confidence are vital to our business and to us personally. Faith and confidence that Our Lord will provide and that we should be ready keeps us moving forward even when the mountain (or challenges we face) seem too steep to climb. As producers of crops and livestock, we have faith and confidence that it will rain, the sun will shine and there will be grass. We also need to have faith and confidence in our decisions even when it may be 16 months before we can evaluate the results of our decisions. Understanding and accepting that life is a constant learning process, we continue to use our past experiences in making decisions. With those experiences and learning, we gain faith and confidence, which are essential in our ability to make sound decisions.

We have a great amount of faith in these cattle and also the confidence in our development of these cattle; thus our eagerness to share them with you. Vision Unanimous 1418 is the result of our 16 years of breeding and developing bulls and heifers for our primary customer – commercial cattlemen. Watching his first progeny develop and a second set of calves on the ground instills in us great excitement. We truly have a great amount of confidence in him and his offspring. His calves are born easily with good vigor.

The birth weights are consistent and lack variability. The calves are very docile and have been exceeding our expectations when they come across the scale. As an Angus breeder, we all dream of a model cow herd and we are so proud of the Unanimous daughters and confident in their ability to become our breeding foundation.

We realize the responsibility that we have as a seedstock producer. The decisions we have made for breeding, health and management of these bulls and heifers will affect many cowherds, families and businesses for years to come. We are humbled to serve your genetic needs and do not take that responsibility lightly. We wish that everyone who decided to breed and sell bulls would realize this. It is and needs to be a heavy burden. As a seedstock breeder, we should bear the responsibility of developing and sharing genetics that will improve the cowherds and balance sheets of beef producers.

These yearling bulls have been fed to gain without introducing acidosis. Minerals and antibiotics have been fed at appropriate levels to ensure soundness, proper growth and development. FERTILITY EXAM AND HERD HEALTH: Semen testing and scrotal measurements are preformed by Dr. Lex Thompson or Dr. Troy Worth, Veterinary Services at Imperial, NE (308) 882-4838. Bulls are guaranteed breeders and sell with an individual fertility exam certificate. All bulls and females tested free of BVD-PI. All lots selling are free of the genetic defects for AM, NH, CA and M1.

PERFORMANCE, ULTRASOUND AND FERTILITY DATA: EPD’s in this catalog are from the American Angus Association. A supplement sheet will be available prior to the sale with a current weight, average daily gain, scrotal and heifer pelvic area. Ultrasound data on all lots except the 18 month old fall yearlings is printed in the back of this sale catalog.
