Located on the Snake River in Eastern Oregon, Ecstasy Ranch lies five miles north of the small town of Adrian, Oregon, and five miles south of Nyssa, Oregon. The property is in a wonderful location for many sporting pursuits while enjoying the great outdoors. Ontario, Oregon (pop. 11,700) is approximately 11 miles to the north and has all the major stores and supplies needed.
The Ecstacy River Ranch is just a couple miles off Highway 201, south of Nyssa, Oregon, and just north of Adrian Oregon. Paved roads lead to the property, bringing you to a long gravel drive with the home right on the river.
The nearest commercial airport is in Boise, Idaho, 60 miles to the east and served by United, Delta, Southwest, Alaska, and American Airlines. Boise is the capital city of Idaho and has been the center of economic growth in the region.

Adrian, located five miles just south of the ranch, was located on the southern route of the Oregon Trail. This section of trail was the longer route eliminating the need to cross the Snake River.

Food and water is the number one component! Upon visiting the retreat, the first species of wildlife that will most likely be evident are turkeys scattering into the underbrush. While following the dirt trails throughout the property, quail and pheasants will either be seen or heard, and a deer could bust out of the undergrowth at any time, making its way to the next stand of isolation. The location of the property is ideal for a quick 10-mile drive up the Owyhee River, and public Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land spreads out for miles into some of the best chukar hunting in Oregon. The Owyhee Reservoir is a total of approximately 23 miles distance, and the 50-mile-long reservoir is an incredible resource for chasing chukars and seeing big mule deer.

The river is ideal for canoeing, paddleboarding, and exploring the river corridor from a boat. The deck faces the river to the east and gives wonderful shade for late-afternoon barbecues and relaxing with a glass of wine.
