Traffic controllers and pilots
If the traffic situation requires traffic management involving a controller, we have the personnel for this task. If you need to safely close off or divert sections of the road, we can help you by providing traffic controllers or pilots. Our employees are highly experienced and remain on hand until your work is finished and the road can be reopened.
We can assist from an early stage with planning and permits for the work.
Traffic control plan
To undertake work in public areas where the traffic flow will be affected, a traffic control plan (TCP) is required. The plan describes how closures and diversions will be implemented, as well as how safety assets are to be positioned so as to ensure clarity and safety for vehicles and pedestrians.
Our TC consultants will help you throughout the process, culminating in an approved TCP. We apply for permits, prepare the necessary documentation, maintain contact with the customer, road owner, etc. and undertake site visits.
If your TCP is complex, it may be difficult to gain a clear idea of how it works. In such cases we can supplement the plan with clear visualisation in the form of 3D models.
We offer full-service solutions for work zone safety in traffic environments.
TMA vehicles
We can provide protection for anything from permanent work sites, temporary sites and intermittent works to recovery vehicles etc. Our vehicles provide effective protection where work is carried out for short periods or where there is no room for other protection. Contact your nearest depot for a proposal on the best solution for your particular work site.
In confined spaces, e.g. in city centres, our City-TMA (Truck Mounted Attenuator) vehicles are the perfect compact alternative. In addition to our big TMA vehicles, we can provide you with TMA trailers that can be simply hitched to a towing vehicle.

Based on local regulations and the on-site conditions relating to your planned work, we can help design traffic closures and protective measures to ensure a clearly marked, safe work site.

SVEA & SoundPanel
SVEA is the optimal barrier for work in an urban environment and confined spaces. The barriers are assembled without loose parts and do not require anchoring in the ground, thus eliminating crush injuries and reducing exposure times in traffic situations. Can be easily adjusted sideways and to allow for differences in level. Its short set-up lengths make on-site erection and transportation more efficient, resulting in both economic and environmental benefits.
→ SVEA 2.85 and 5.7 have been crash-tested according to standard SS-EN 1317-2 in capacity classes T2, T3 and N2*. They are CEcertified and in receipt of the relevant licence decision.

Traffic Barrier
The Traffic Barrier is a good alternative for relatively lightweight closure requirements in e.g. urban environments, on pedestrian and cycle paths or market places. With a number of accessories and smart solutions in mesh form, the product is designed to meet the highest specifications based on current requirements and standards.
The absence of weights or feet sticking out towards the traffic also minimises the risk of people tripping.
→ The mesh/barrier combination complies with SS-EN 1317 on the basis of a crash test in capacity class T1, and SS 7750-1 based on protection class 3.
The total height with GC Fence fitted will be: Long mesh: 2350 mm. Short mesh: 1650 mm.

SoundGuard is our in-house designed perimeter protection for mounting on GP-Link. Easy to assemble, the panels have highly noise-reducing characteristics, reducing sound levels on your work site by up to 24 dB. In its standard version, the total height is 2.1 metres. By adding barbed wire, TopMesh or doubling up the panels, the system can be built up to a height of 4 metres, including the barrier.

Access and exit system
Complete the worksite with remote-controlled folding gates for vehicle and material access. Available in widths of 2–8 m. They can be operated with a remote control or via phone, either by calling or using an app. All gates include information units for recording presence as well as opening and logging with ID06.

Pedestrians and cyclists
A new Swedish standard, SS 7750-1, was introduced in 2022 with the aim of increasing safety for pedestrians, cyclists and road workers. The standard specifies clear requirements and recommendations for the relevant road owners: they must ensure good accessibility and must use temporary traffic control systems involving barriers and fences suitable specifically for pedestrians and cyclists. The new standards specify 3 different protection classes. The precise protection class to be applied depends on the specific on-site conditions.
Protection class 1
Intended for pavements where only pedestrians are present and designed to:
→ prevent a pedestrian from walking or stumbling into a site works area.
→ separate pedestrians visually and physically from a site works area.
The top guardrail must not be lower than 1.1 metres.
Protection class 2
Intended for areas used by both pedestrians and cyclists and designed to:
→ prevent an unprotected road user who collides with the restraint system at an angle of up to 45° from falling over or through the system.
→ separate unprotected road users visually and physically from a site works area.
The top guardrail must not be lower than 1.4 metres.
Protection class 3
Intended for areas used by both pedestrians and cyclists, involving also cyclists who might cross the area. The highest protection class in accordance with SS 7750-1 and designed to:
→ prevent an unprotected road user who collides with the restraint system at an angle of up to 90° from falling over or through the system.
→ separate unprotected road users visually and physically from a site works area.

Safety in multiple steps
What does safety mean for us when we develop equipment for environments involving pedestrians and cyclists?
→ Physical tests performed on the material to assess compliance with requirements and determine capacity in accordance with SS 7750-1.

Digital supervision
Inspections of roadworks sites are to a large extent undertaken manually, which can be both challenging and problematic. At Ramudden, we are endeavouring to replace routine physical inspections with digital and event-based monitoring. Using our technology, we can connect work sites with our cloud-based platform, allowing 24-hour monitoring.
Intellitag
A cloud-based monitoring device that can be connected to a wide range of temporary traffic control systems. Intellitag is flexible enough to be fitted to various items of equipment. It sends and receives data on position, orientation, battery levels and the type of sign or product it is fitted to, as well as triggering an alarm if an incident occurs.

The compact ViaCount II traffic meter is easy to use and consists of a small, lightweight but robust device. Its long battery life means you can measure traffic in two directions for at least two weeks.
The radar equipment is versatile, allowing detailed measurement of speed, vehicle type and traffic flows throughout the work site. The information gathered is processed, analysed and presented in a report.

Portable Site Alarm (PSA)
The Portable Site Alarm (PSA) is a portable, connected alarm system, designed to warn personnel of and prevent unauthorised work site incursions by vehicles or people, thus increasing the safety of workers in traffic environments.
The alarm emits an instant visual and audible warning in the event of an incursion, allowing personnel to react to any danger.
Can also be connected to and communicate with other warning equipment, such as e.g. the Sentry Laser.
